Essendon playing like Freo
Caleb Poulter seems to have been a handy pick up by the Dogs as a cheap rookie wages winger.
Just shows there are people out there all the time that could do a job at this level
No one decent and they are just so blunt in attack.Does Essendon have a small forward?
Isn't it great? Love watching this guys downfall.Turns out Lobb was right all along and the dogs coaches did know how to use him properly...

I’m starting to realise if you don’t have an elite small forward you can’t win the flag.
We have the same problem ourselves.
Lots of battlers that need 4 or 5 chances to kick 2 goals. You don’t get that luxury in a big finals game. You might get just 8 touches as a small forward in a tight prelim or GF and maybe 2 or 3 half chances of goals.
It should be possibly to draft a decent small forward with pick 21. We got Ballas with that pick previously.Welcome aboard. Hopefully our club finally comes to the same realisation.
We aren't getting a top 20 pick for Henry lol.It should be possibly to draft a decent small forward with pick 21. We got Ballas with that pick previously.
Weightman was 14 and Pickett was 12
If Henry does request a trade we might get a pick in that range
If he went to the dogs, Henry and pick 21 for pick 14 is a realistic trade I reckon. We aren't getting a top 20 pick for Henry lol.
and the whiteboardI took Bevo half a season but he has now worked out where to play Lobb. Everyone is happy except Lobb.
Plays the easiest role in footy.Caleb Poulter seems to have been a handy pick up by the Dogs as a cheap rookie wages winger.

Tigers built a team of battler small forwards and won 3 flags...No one decent and they are just so blunt in attack.

Yeah but we don't have a Jack Riewoldt or Dusty Martin to compensate.Tigers built a team of battler small forwards and won 3 flags...
Schulz is no worse than any of their premiership smalls
I’ll give you the first of those flags - Castagna, Butler and Rioli and the likes are similar to what we have now..Tigers built a team of battler small forwards and won 3 flags...

Bolton didn't come good til he moved to the midfieldI’ll give you the first of those flags - Castagna, Butler and Rioli and the likes are similar to what we have now..
They had dusty in the midfield to kick a heap of goals though that we don’t have. Plus Riewoldt one of the most clutch goalkickers this century in the AFL. I think amiss projects a similar player to JR but he’s got a long way to go obviously.
From 2019 onwards and especially in 2020 Shai Bolton Went to a level beyond anything our smalls are capable of apart from Walters who is near the end
He was a role player in 2019 alright but came 4th in their B&F in 2020, and was electric at times in that season.Bolton didn't come good til he moved to the midfield
He only kicked 15 goals in each of those prem years
