Is McKay out of the question?
Might help Carlton get to Petracca
given they need all the draft points they can get to pay for the new ashcroft + their academy player i can't see them being willing to stump up the picks for anyone significant

Who do Brissy target for KPF

Membrey?
Darling?
Taberner?
Lynch?

Or do they run with an extra small next to Hipwood and Morris

I guess they have Brandon Ryan up there too, maybe Fort plays a bunch as a fwd/ruck

Stickers Membery would be my guess.
Scum of the earth is going to North.
Lynch too expensive both in draft picks & salary
Dear Tabs is cooked.
Maybe they look at the desisted Brayden Preuss?

They gave Brandon Ryan a long contract last year and went very hard to get him.

He's less exposed at AFL level than the guys you've said but let's remember Joe Daniher was rucking a fair bit this year. As much as it limits options it'll be a genuine second ruck or forward/ruck that replaces him and unless Brisbane can get someone very very cheap (trade value wise) it's probably either Fort or Ryan.

Rory Lobb would have been an option to replace Daniher until his back line revival at the Dogs.
While on that topic, did anyone have him winning Best Club Person on their bingo cards?

I'll just leave this here...

Seen people laughing at the trade suggestion like the Lions would have been screwed but they could have still won the flag this year with that trade and are set up better in the future with Daniher retiring. Coleman played one game, McCarthy played 8 and firsts mean nothing to a club that has access to gun father sons. So essentially the trade is McKay for Bailey.

I never looked at it like that but I still think it's lopsided Carltons way.

McKay in Brisbane colours would be terrifying.

i find it funny though for teams like WC trying to rebuild at the bottom who in the past got, e.g. pick 1, 19 and maybe a priority pick at 20 which really got them going. Now after F/S, FA compensation, etc. they get pick 1 and 30 which seems like it will get even worse this year on. There's going to be some slow rebuilds unless you get mass exodus of good players like at Richmond. Plus the Tassie factor coming up.

Bloody hell, Geelong are just going to keep on being good forever aren't they.
We'll be back to Geelong/Hawks GF's again soon. Its uncanny how those 2 teams can just magically rejuvenate while others like Saints/Bombers/Blues continually fail.
Saints/bombers/blues/freo. Let's not pretend we are any better than them
