Tanking in the literal form probably doesn't happen, but subtly doing it such as putting a younger team on the park with a lack of experience can definitely increase your chances of losing and securing some high draft picks.

Cox having an interrupted pre-season as well as a long term injury during the season hasn't helped him, when he's fit and at his best he's worth all the money in the world.
