Alex Johnson? Mora?

Dude's 24 and already played 120 games. Not sure he's even remotely in that conversation.
And the last 3 seasons he's been plagued by injuries and has looked a shadow of his former self.

I'd say it's pretty unlucky but yeah if you're comparing his bad run to Mora then it's pretty obvious Mora had worse luck.

He's had a rough few years and still played 58 games over the last three seasons.

He's not getting the best luck, but it's not particularly dire either.

the obligatory "who's training the house down" (that term should probably be banned...) pre-season report....has arrived!!! You're welcome:

Dangerous time of the year in certain suburbs. Heard a massive noise today which sounded like a massive roll of thunder but turns out it was just Max King blasting out a rapid time trial a few km away in Moorabbin.

Be careful out there everyone.

Looks like Baker is primed for a big year. He was actually practicing in the heat. That’s insane. The guy’s driving some high standards at his new club.

He had a bloody strong team last season

Nah, very overrated list and a ridiculous amount of luck winning close games. Some high end talent, but the bottom half of the 22 is very weak. Look at the team they rolled out against Geelong in that final ... they were playing 3 players who were rejects from the Cats, and many more players who wouldn't get a game in Geelong's best 22.

He must be a good coach then

What the hell is Josh Corbetts role at the club, could’ve sworn he’d taken one after retiring? He’s just signed with south Barwon football club for the year

He had off field community roles and an AFLW role but he may have chosen to move on from them now.

Wouldn't be much money in them, likely got a good deal to play country with a job, he would've had pretty light contracts throughout his AFL career.
