I'm not saying it. The AFL are.

Their strategic plan is generational, it's not a flash in the pan let's add a team and forget about them.

They want to dominate our nation's sports market and the only way to do that is over 50+ years targeting kids and making them AFL not NRL fans.

That's where the growth is going to come from, not a 3rd WA team. They are in this for the long haul and they will continue to manipulate the Northern states to have strong sides.

Which I am cool with as long as the AFL is no longer a Vic business, we need representation from all states in the AFL hierarchy.

On a serious note Sydney look pretty good this year. Nice balanced team and attractive brand of footy. They are a tough bunch too.

When Buddy finally got off the ground and into the race, he told Channel 7 that he copped a mouthful of beer in the squash. Haha.

It starts with the game plan. Sydney are a well oiled machine with how they move the ball. No bombing into the forwardline, not continually kicking it to packs, just quick ball movement out into space. I want to see how we go this Sunday before comparing our gameplan against the best.

People who never experienced the WAFL in its heydey just don't get how big it was.

You could rock up to suburban ground and see top quality footy. High scoring, open, fast. It was everything the AFL aspires to be.

I genuinely don't know where to put this, slightly non AFL related but **** Rove McManus. This dude did a gig at the club I work at tonight and holy shit that was absolutely garbage. He went about 20 minutes over his time and spent most of it either chatting with his mate onstage or rehashing jokes the comedians before him had already done. You could see the frustration on the other comic's faces.

He seems like a nice guy but his material is all stolen and he just gives himself way too much credit

I still think that is wrong. I know 10 or so people who have had covid and only 1 has had no symptoms. Sure, some will be undetected but 80% is far to high of a percentage.

Clearly WC haven’t been social distancing at the club.

Really believe west coast’s players haven’t taken Covid seriously. Few players being privileged anti vaxxers. But the key is families. Older generation at the club then vs Fremantle.
The key is isolating from general population. Avoiding potential hotspots. I’m sure the club must’ve spoken to the players about this
