Hell of an achievement, hell of a player and hell of a celebration ( though I was worried that the celebration was an idiot away from disaster ).

True though he was a erratic set shot kicker in his early days. Shows you can improve if you work hard at your craft. All that pressure and he split the middle! Now that's mental toughness! Our forwards could take just a little leaf out of his book.
Post of the year.I hope Banfield shows the same composure when lines up for number 1000
1000th behind?I hope Banfield shows the same composure when lines up for number 1000
Which I am cool with as long as the AFL is no longer a Vic business, we need representation from all states in the AFL hierarchy.I'm not saying it. The AFL are.
Their strategic plan is generational, it's not a flash in the pan let's add a team and forget about them.
They want to dominate our nation's sports market and the only way to do that is over 50+ years targeting kids and making them AFL not NRL fans.
That's where the growth is going to come from, not a 3rd WA team. They are in this for the long haul and they will continue to manipulate the Northern states to have strong sides.
1000th pre season goal.I hope Banfield shows the same composure when lines up for number 1000
Rather watch him play against the best players in the country than the best players in the state.40 or 50 years ago Buddy would have played in the WAFL.
I miss those days.
Yeah ok mate.Rather watch him play against the best players in the country than the best players in the state.
I mean, the guys holding their beers instead at least have slightly better priorities.
It starts with the game plan. Sydney are a well oiled machine with how they move the ball. No bombing into the forwardline, not continually kicking it to packs, just quick ball movement out into space. I want to see how we go this Sunday before comparing our gameplan against the best.On a serious note Sydney look pretty good this year. Nice balanced team and attractive brand of footy. They are a tough bunch too.
A lot of those were the best players in the country.Rather watch him play against the best players in the country than the best players in the state.
People who never experienced the WAFL in its heydey just don't get how big it was.A lot of those were the best players in the country.
Some big head lady got her way between the camera and the shot.

Really believe west coast’s players haven’t taken Covid seriously. Few players being privileged anti vaxxers. But the key is families. Older generation at the club then vs Fremantle.I still think that is wrong. I know 10 or so people who have had covid and only 1 has had no symptoms. Sure, some will be undetected but 80% is far to high of a percentage.
Clearly WC haven’t been social distancing at the club.
