Maybe I'm still riding the highs of last night, but there's nothing in that first half that I don't think our best could match. Bit surprised actually - feel like last night's game was a higher quality so far.
Yep just said the same , thinking our game was grand final esque, I wonder if it will be the game of the round, surely.

Absolutely blatant block from melksham there. Imagine if we lost last night from that farce daniher free

The "blocking" free kick (or not) is the most discretionary umpiring decision in the game and the one where the umpire can get off on a power kick, depending how he feels at the time.

The one against Daniher was almost a carbon copy of the one against Silvagni after Cripps marked in front of goal in the last quarter in the last Round when Collingwood came back from the dead (again) to pip the Blues at the death.

If the umpire hadn't imagined something that just wasn't there, Cripps would have shot from almost point blank to put the game out of doubt. Just like Linc would have just about sealed it for us.

At least we got the rub of the green with that ARC decision, whereas Carlton had to suffer the double ignominy of another defensive "block" decision AGAINST them at the other end about 60 seconds later, where it didn't seem like there was much in that decision either.

Yeah , I know there was a certain karma with us death riding Cripps but the fact remained that Collingwood got out of jail yet again with two dodgy "block" decisions that seemed to be made on not much more than an umpiring whim.

Will we be within 11 goals of Melbourne at half time next Friday?

We've laid out a perfect trap for them. Threw 2 home n away games, got Demons lulled into comfort against us - bang straight set them in finals !

Bright side - if we're playing Demons next, our Victorian fans get to enjoy 3 straight MCG games if we are to go all the way !

Playing Melbourne won't be all bad.

They would be warm/hot favorites just like Richmond last night and probably feeling pretty comfortable about themselves in a SF against their "easybeats"

We would have nothing to lose and it's certain our guys will have learned heaps from the last couple of disasters against them.

Crap, this isn't good

This is perfect. We'll have Fort, Wilmot, Dev - completely new look. Will be very interesting.

Can't play Gardiner. Can't play Answerth. Be brave Fagan ! Play all 4 runners from our side - Dev, Prior, Ah Chee and Berry. We got this one !

The key is we have to come to play and not just rock up to jog around.
