I’ve been waiting for it.

Fyfe out for Freo this weekend.
he is cooked

thought hed be back to his best when interviewed in preseason and said he was feeling fit and healthy coming off surgery and ready to go back to being a full time mid. hasnt been able to get a consistent run of games even playing a less physically demanding role predominately in the forward line

surely has to give up captaincy at the conclusion of this season

So who are we barracking for this weekend?

My preferred winners are:
Demons to beat Swans
Pies to beat Cats
Freo to beat Dogs.

This would let us play Swans in Sydney which I’m quite positive about and if we get through that we can play the Pies in a prelim.

Also sets up a potential Prelim of Melbourne vs Geelong. Happy that its not them both in the GF and they can beat each other up

Pies were leading Cats by some 6 goals or something before losing it in home & away. They've only perfected that style even more. They can beat cats if they bring that style of play. Will be an interesting game to watch from coaching and tactics point of view as well - Scott Vs McRae.

Yep, same.

Freo to beat Cats then Demons to meet us in the GF. ;)

I would prefer to meet Geelong in the GF, if we were to make it all the way.
I don't have any animosity to Fremantle. Geelong already have three recent premierships, the sooner they get knocked out the better.

They also have a fair few annoying posters on BF.

Suggesting Hawkins doesn't mind pushing opponents in the back is akin to throwing some chips on the ground at the beach.

Hawkins.

Duckwood.

Dangerfield.

Cameron.

I'd be fine with none of those winning any (more) premierships.

The idea of Dangerfield and Cameron not winning a premiership brings me much joy.

Overall their team actually has players that seem quite likeable (Duncan, Tuohy, Guthrie, De Koning, Henry etc.), they just balance it out by having some of the biggest flogs in the competition.

I actually kinda like Hawkins, great player, just a massive exploiter of the terrible hands in the back rule (and a flopper from time to time).

Seems to do a bit mess self-refereeing compared to Riewoldt at least. I wish Joe got the same unrealistic attempt umpiring as Jack.

I quite like Hawkins as well - not his fault that the umps look after him - just wish the umps looked after Charlie and Joe as much.
