Ok, so this season Melbourne have lost to Brisbane away, Port away, Essendon away (yep i'll count that one), and just snuck over the line against the Suns.

I wonder if we'll see a massive 'Melbourne are a different side on the road' narrative in the media this week.

Beyond that, they beat at the beginning of the season, and since then their highest-ranked scalp has been Gold Coast.

Arguably getting within a goal of Port Adelaide away has been their most impressive result since round one.
 
Man, how does a team go from a Grand Final to barely being able to stay in front of North Melb's VFL team.

Longmire has been excellent at the Swans for a long time but they really might need a new voice at some point.

Swans overachieved to make the GF last year. Reversion to the mean and some injuries to key players means they'll drop back a bit this year, but they have enough good young players to be back in calculations before too long, they have a history of it.
