That last mark is exactly what we need someone who marks it's 1 on 1 consistently .
If Amartey did that regularly then mcdonald could be CHF/Hf i guess

I am worried about McDonald's return. Not that our talls have been Plugger 2.0 but if nothing else they have competed and thrown their bodies around. Amartey has been moving, jumping, leaping, running more than he ever has been.
McDonald is skilful and I like him, but I don't think he competes as physically. I'm a bit concerned that when he returns we will see a lot more intercept marks to the opposition.

I felt like Mcdonald started well last year was fading, missed shots and then he was building up and prelim even felt like a breakout effort, even that last lead and mark, gets injured and yeah.
Now my worry is he will slow as shit back and take a step back .
Maybe Cox can work out the set up there and where he should play.
If he throws him in defence though , I Reckon that's just giving up

Yeah don't get me wrong I'm a fan of his. I just think he is best comes when supply is good. With our team right now, supply is a little hard to come by and it's often ugly. I think it's better suited to the guys like Amartey, McLean, even Ladhams who will just have a crack and try to halve a contest.
