I know it doesn't, but the game was in the balance and it completely killed our momentum. For the rest of the game we were kept at arms length. You'll just have to trust me when I say that I rarely, if ever, blame the umpires.

It's still no excuse for us losing the match. We just weren't good enough when it mattered.

Free kick counts aren't a true indicator, as they don't account for free kicks not paid. We were screwed in the 2nd quarter and the damage was done from there.

As I said, free kick counts aren't a good indicator. It's the ones that are paid when they shouldn't have been, and the ones that should have been paid but weren't.
