think you will find alby that both clubs are finalising some clearances which is why they are short a couple....maybe not trying to give too much away before the season opener. looking at the transfer list may give a few ideas of names

I'm guessing they will either be made up by blokes playing on permit or ones who clearances haven't come through yet, but will by Saturday.

Well, Royal Dougy you are missing my point, what i meant was before Ross left to the ammo's when he played footy with Donald, which was only a handful of games he never tore them apart! Do you understand now?

Dion Hawkes after his biggest pre season to date, will stroll out for the Donald Seniors! lining up next to the L. Jones and the big bad bustling Barry Burke. Hawkes, told me he will kick 5 against any boort opponent that they put on him. After all the work he has done.

After a short stroll down the street, I have heard that the reason why Wyche hasn't put through many clearances is due to the fact many of the players returning are already registered there. They wouldn't give too many names away but they must be trying to surprise whoever they play in their first game.

Lol, well, they are generally all over the place here in St Arnaud... Club, Hando's SportsFirst, few pubs, and another shop window or 2 (Plus the High School when they are there)
So yea Mobben... the Shop window Era is still alive
Maybe they're driving around the district taking photos of the Milk Bar windows

We don't start til May sometime so it would be good to go back and have a few runs in April if possible.

Thirsty, there is special "drought condition" permits available to all leagues that have had their season put back due to the drought. Get in touch with the club Pres or Sec at the team you wish to have a kick for and they would know what I'm talking about. I believe this permit even enables major league players to play in minor leagues....but I may be wrong on that. Maximum games played on permits is 8.

Your correct FT. Due to the drought and delayed seasons, there has been a new rule put in place to ensure anyone can gain permission to play anywhere no matter what league or level due to the delyed season.
Not sure on the finals situation smasher as i would presume the drought rule is only valid until the club you are registered at plays it's first game. Once the season has started, normal permit rules would resume.

They also put them on the pub window. (that way no one can use the "i didn't know" excuse because EVERYONE from the burn lives at the pub)

Players with TIME LIMIT on thier clearence thing on the vcfl site, are they right to play tomorrow with the clubs thier trying to get cleared to?

It's going to an interesting call for some Boort trainer / official re the state of the ground tomorrow. From all accounts it should have been transferred to Boort. How effective has carting water been? Are there still cracks??

Have been watching Ricky Allens progress very closely.. Has been training hard at boot camp in the mornings, having the afternoon off and than doing 300g bicep curls by night.. Needs to even the balance tho coz either he does a lot of drinking with his right arm or pulls the old fella quite a lot as it is much larger in contrast to his left arm.....

Stenhouse 9, too strong up forward...our guys just ran outta legs after 3 quarter time (scores tied up until then)
Solyom 7
Royce Benaim reported 4 Striking Solyom (took him 4 goes b4 he hit)
Isn't a report (as far as striking goes) supposed to be red card? i may be wrong..
