Re: North Central Football League

For once lets start to talk about the games ahead, i mean its only 2 days away and I think that this week is crucial.

- If ST.A wants to stay alive in this competition they have to beat Boort!

- I hope Wychie beat Wedderburn, I mean they are on such from high last week!

- don't really give a Crap about Birchip and Charlton

Re: North Central Football League

shauno pearce up in the ones for donald. he wouldnt have played to many games at the top level yet would he?????

yeah from all reports he is a good seconds player at best.. Once again that proves that Donalds line up is ordinary

M AXE???
think the St. Arnaud blokes have a real good chance this week over boort seniors will be to strong a side and boort look to be missing a few names in their side

reservse if they can continue on from last week they should be up there...
Y B Dixon back to 2s his not to bad but did spend alot of the last game on the pine

GO SAINTS its your turn

PCL, been training in full for a few sessions now, give it a quick once over with a ruck tap excersise, went well... he's right to go!

Re: North Central Football League

With the Apparent few injuries that the boys from the Oasis have, along with our injuries starting to finally sort themselves out, i think we are a chance of causing what many may feel as an upset.(and yes i do realse the boort kids on here will spark up, but their turn will come)

As for the 2's, the sides looking pretty good, should win by a comfortable margin, to get the season really rocking for the Saints!

3rds - who knows, Boort are flying (there ya go Spider, your tires are pumped, live off that for the next couple of weeks) and we are missing 14 of our regulars, but you never know, theres still a bit of Talent around.

4ths - St Arnaud by Mercy Rule in the 3rd Quarter, young Liam Andison to kick 4 for St Arnaud

Re: North Central Football League

mor. i noticed with your reserve side over the last few years, you guys always seem to start off slowly, as you have again. how would you rate your chances at finals this year?

Re: North Central Football League

Yeah Tinkle, fair chance i would say. We have already shown that we can well and truly match it with atleast 2 of the sides above us, and Wedderburn, even though we lost to them first up, they are far from unbeatable. Birchip will be a test, they seem to once again have the goods. When we played them in round 2, we started off on the back foot, and it went from there. If our guys can come out with the right mentality, they can beat any side in the competition.

As for Donald and Boort, both should be reasonably comfortable wins, however if our guys go out expecting a comfortable win, we all know how quick a side can pounce towards an upset.

Re: North Central Football League

BOORT VS st a
1's: boort to win by 10 or more goals....Rob rutly to kick 7 or 8...
2's: most likley a win to St A...
U16's: providing St A have 14 regulars out...Boort with an easy win..(MOR MY TYRES ARE NOT PUMPED))))
U13's: i have no idea because i havent watched them play before.....

Re: North Central Football League

thats the way kid, nice to see you have enough faith to back your [reserves] side when they are down
im sure they appreciate your support

last year up here we had a gun side, this year we have dropped off big time, with all the transfers away. its the guys that stay at a club and support them non stop even when things are bad, that should be commended, that passion for the jumper is what makes country football so great!

Re: North Central Football League

@ Daisy Williams... I've always wanted to use that line "long time reader/listener, first time writer/caller". Classic!!! Sorry I have nothing of value to add here. Shake and Bake!

Re: North Central Football League

Mobb - RE: Medlyn, Yes, from what i could find out, it would be Rob Medlyn - Chris's Father

Cool bananas, pedigree at a real club :p

Red Headed Star, yep, passion for the jumper, and for footy in general. Its grouse :)

Boort by 8 goals, did Rutly get off?
wedderburn by 15 goals if wet, 25 if not.
donald to bounce back by a goal.

Re: North Central Football League

Big inury concerns for the Navy Blues. Thommo with a broken leg at training last night! This will severly deplete the tall stocks for Charlton where they are already struggling. Roo boy will have to step up.

Re: North Central Football League

How good is the top of the goal kicking table looking for the later stages of the year.

Both quality forwards.

Ryan on 33 after 5 rnds
Stenna 28 after 5 rnds.

Birchip have the bye this week and Stenna's Sav's take on Wychy.

At least even after 6 rounds.

Round 7 see the end of the first rotation
Birchip still to play Wychy
Burn have boort.

At this Rate...
Ryan is on track to kick 118
Stenhouse on target for 101

Broken leg has got to be at least 6 weeks? I think this might hurt the Navies chances of a top two finish. Surely they will stuggle to get first use without thommo there. If Andrews is still missing this week? do donald have a sniff of victory?

Andrews will be definately back this week.. the only reason he didn't line up against the burn is because he didn't want to put our young up-and comer James McGrath, who made the trip back from Melbourne.. With andrews in Charlton will clean up donald 7+ goals...

Boort will have a big win this weekend with Rob Rutley to kick a bag... St. Arnuard will simply be not good enough.. a lot of of young talent but no experience.. Needs to kick 4 though.

Wedderburn will come out winners this weekend by a huge margin in excess of 100 points... The onball tussle will be interesting though with young guns Ricky Allen, Joel Turner, and Boe Bish up against the experinece of Wedderburn's Clintin turnball, Ben DeAurgo, Ben Rose... With Stenthouse to kick 10 Wedderburn will be too strong

Only if you turn it on again champ.

i can see the headlines in sundays paper "Saints clip Magpies wings"
The saints will enjoy the first win this week, i will enjoy watching holy grail root the horse.
