Andrews will be definately back this week.. the only reason he didn't line up against the burn is because he didn't want to put our young up-and comer James McGrath, who made the trip back from Melbourne.. With andrews in Charlton will clean up donald 7+ goals...

Boort will have a big win this weekend with Rob Rutley to kick a bag... St. Arnuard will simply be not good enough.. a lot of of young talent but no experience.. Needs to kick 4 though.

Wedderburn will come out winners this weekend by a huge margin in excess of 100 points... The onball tussle will be interesting though with young guns Ricky Allen, Joel Turner, and Boe Bish up against the experinece of Wedderburn's Clintin turnball, Ben DeAurgo, Ben Rose... With Stenthouse to kick 10 Wedderburn will be too strong

i can see the headlines in sundays paper "Saints clip Magpies wings"
The saints will enjoy the first win this week, i will enjoy watching holy grail root the horse.

Considering that St.A are currently sitting on the bottom of the ladder i am confused as to why they take up 80% of the conversation on this thread...
Having said that though i believe that this week will be a closer game between Boort and St.A than what most people think. St.A have lot of young running players and will want to win the ball out of the middle. Both sides have strong fwd lines so whatever team has more centre clearances, providing can use it, will win. Go to uni with lot of the St.A boys, good fellas, maybe fitness may a key for this game. Will have to stick with the old side boort. By 6 goals.
Barty to be too dominant and Pluga to kick 5, Pudja 3.
Simmo to feed ball well in fwd if dont hang across half back..
Heard a whisper of a few new Boort signings too and also some return from injury of a couple players sooner than they thought for the year, may give them the deapth they lack.

The Ballarat boys are keen as mustard, will definately get more of the footy than Boorts midfiled, especially if Mud Rutley is on a wing.

If St A is so bad why is 50% of your post about St Arnaud d!cknose?
The Ballarat boys are keen as mustard, will definately get more of the footy than Boorts midfiled, especially if Mud Rutley is on a wing.
With the big DRUMbeater in, and 4 weeks of playing together the saints will get up.

Here are my tips for this weekends games.

Charlton v Donald - Charlton to be to strong for Donald even though the big ugly man aint playing. Should win be a margin of more than 60 points.

Wedderburn v Wycheproof/Narraport - Will be the best game of round by far. With Wyche/Narra starting to gel as a team they will account for the legue leaders by 4 points. Boof to keep Stenhouse to 4 goals.

St Arnaud v Boort - Will be a better game than alot of people predict. Boort will win but it wont be a belting, maybe 6 or 7 goals. If Needs and Drummy get going with Soloym kicking goals it my even be closer.

Bad luck to Thommo. Hope he takes this chance to retire from football.

I really do mean bad luck to the bloke. Good player if hes on your team. Not to good for oppositions though.

Broken leg has got to be at least 6 weeks? I think this might hurt the Navies chances of a top two finish. Surely they will stuggle to get first use without thommo there. If Andrews is still missing this week? do donald have a sniff of victory?

Donald and Charlton always seem to produce an upset against each other when the opposition is expected to easily win. So i would give Donald a chance..
Couple of years ago Donald knocked off Charlton in the last round before Charlton went on to win the flag, and even many years before that, a game Charlton Vs Donald at Charlton in which Slamming Sam Harrison on the wing inspired a memorable win...

Charlton Vs Donald expect the unexpected...

Bad luck to Thommo on his injury, the next few games will give Charlton fans a look into the future..

Good luck to the big Roo for tomorrow i hope his has a good one..

Also good luck to the Donald Fullback in the twos. Hopefully carrying around the big number 1 won't slow him down any more.
