Re: North Central Football League

BigFooty Gag Order ;)

gag is off Roc.

South Barwon triple premiership coach Dale Amos, in St Arnaud tonite. Good mates with the reserves coach, staying at his place and going to the sheds to meet a few boys and drink cans.

Add to the list of candidates;
Rick Andrews, Carl Hufer, Nathan McNally.

Interesting.

Re: North Central Football League

Good luck with Andrews... Do you really think he will leave Charlton to coach/play elsewhere in the same league. My bet is he will stay at Charlton.

Re: North Central Football League

since we r on silly season, any singings yet? in or out of the NCFL? Rog the Ramjet, you never know these days. we will have to see when MOR's gag order is lifted off by magistrate owen.

Re: North Central Football League

I thought the McNallys vowed never to return to St.Arnaud after that whole Heath getting dropped for the granny thing. Can't imagine a premiership coach in the GFL moving to St.Arnaud, you'd reckon his asking price would be pretty hefty...

Re: North Central Football League

So i take it you haven't heard about the Maryborough/Sandhurst thing... no problems there!

I have heard of this, but the NCFL is a bit different. Blokes do it a lot in Bendigo, blokes like Milward and Damien Brown have gone from Kangaroo Flat to Eaglehawk.
It wouldn't happen in the NCFL, as every town revolves around its footy team - Not sure if they have the same passion for the clubs in Bendigo as here.
So cross him off the list.
Hufer would be a great option, great player, great bloke, and probably offers exactly what St Arnaud needs - another quality onballer. Plus his price tag wouldn't be through the roof.

Obvisously you dont know Carl. Very carefull with cash. plus on his last few years he couldn't ask for much.

Re: North Central Football League

In a severe upset, the St AFC Best n Fairest winner, was Scott Lloyd. He polled 41 votes, runners up, were SImon Brearley, and Daniel Needs tied

Re: North Central Football League

Been a bit quiet on here lately fellas; do we have any footy trip reports at hand. I see that the 'Burners and the Bulls are reuniting in Sydney again this weekend.

Bit of a turn up in the St.Arnaud count, how did your love child not win MOR?

Re: North Central Football League

[sarcasm]Who? Cua? DAMN! Shoulda kept that one quiet  [/sarcasm]

Nah, Lloydy got up, the late run by big needsie and Brearley's consistancy wasn't enough to catch the resident albino, who is probably the most explosive forward flank in the league

Could probably argue a case for Finlay, Beckham and Ricky Allan also.

Re: North Central Football League

McHugh would also have to be in this league wouldnt he. Very esplosive as we saw grand final day when he slammed home 2 or 3 majors and assisted in many more, Finlay didnt touch the thing from memory.

Re: North Central Football League

Finlay relies on the midfield feeding it alot more than the other ones named, McHugh= Quality, Allan done nothing this year

read in the geelong paper the other day a quote by Dale Amos saying that he is planning on staying at South Barwon and trying to keep as many of their players as possible. I doubt that he will be heading to St Arnaud
