Re: North Central Football League

well why did it only occur once?
if it was for that purpose, it would have been a weekly occurence

from wat i hear roc it happened more than once. it occured on a couple of sundays. but going with wat perry has said not much point changing ur routine if u start winning. Mayb it was the swim that made them start winning. i personally think that losing to u blokes was the wake up call that made them win so many games in a row. losing to St arnaud this year would be pretty embarasing for any side :p.

Re: North Central Football League

Rumour has that he will be leaving Birchip/Watchem FC, to become Head Coach At the Australian Institute of Sport, for the Swimming Team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Word on the street is that they caught a glimpse of his efforts after Round 9, vs St Arnaud.

Sources say Lee is the only Coach in the last 20 years, to decide to have his entire side in unheated water, on a day where the temperature is below 10 degrees.

After seeing the squads efforts in the following weeks, and how much they improved, The AIS (while they dont understand how it worked) realised that it did work, and thought it may be a good theory to apply to the prospective swimmers at Beijing.

Hey roc, where did you take St.Arnaud players after the game to the pie shop hang on they can't go there because you have already eaten all the food you fat slob.  :p :thumbsu:

Wouldn't expect much more from you... Lucky you can play football, cuz thats all you got going for ya... but then again, a great midfield could make any forward look good ;)

Re: North Central Football League

its not the years that matters. who cares whether st arnaud have won a lot of premierships in the years of 8. you need to play as a team, have skill and work hard to win flags. they dont drop at your feet for you just because you are going to be in the yr ending with 8. any news on tranfers and recruting? in or out?

Re: North Central Football League

This '8' thing is all you St Arnaud blokes talk about, will look pretty silly if yous dont win it. Wheres Andrews playing next year???

I know that at least one club enquired as to his movements for next year and he said that he would be remaining where he is currently.

Not sure about the Walklate one, the bloke is navy blue thru and thru, but i'm sure that at some stage he would want to test his skills at a higher level. Heard on the grape vine that at least a couple more from the North Central could be heading bendigo way to test themselves out..

Anyone who thinks that this is Cliff Ryan is seriously deluded. Cliff can at least string two words together, this cretin on the other hand has not posted one comment that could be remotely considered grade 2 English. Most likely a no-hoper who wished he could play football so he uses Cliff's name to make him feel good about himself.

Re: North Central Football League

Hey guys. can anyone tell anyhting about about a bloke called Aaron Locke?
aaron locke is a great player and an even better bloke. Probably the best reserves full back in the league, played in a premiership team and was very very good in the grand final. Will hopefully be pulling the boots on again next year to keep a cool mature head in the 2's. Ohhhh an to the guy that said he was a flea you must be an absoulute **** sucker.

I thought Locke was more of a BP or HBF rather than a FB... Reads the ball well... Even think that last year he used to have a bit of a jog on ball every now and then..

Am I the only person here that has not heard of Locke. What club does he play for?

surely u can come up with something better than that?! thats statement is a long way from being funny. U r obvisously not cliff ryan. just a tool that cant spell.

Re: North Central Football League

ROC Has the bus run out of petrol. Confident to say that it will not come back to St.Arnaud next year and the players on it wont be coming back! Sure would hurt the saints in the quest for a big 2008!

Re: North Central Football League

Im sure the guys in saints land aren't too worried. with cua, boyington, wilson, and brearley gone, it frees up space in the budget for a couple of top quality midfielders, certainly ample replacement for the ballarat guys. Yes, im sure they would have loved them to stay, judging by the amount of time that the president spends with them. Ive heard whispers on the grape vine that st arnaud are very close to signing a couple of quality players from the loddon valley. these two names alone are more than ample replacement for cua, boyington, brearley and wilson.

As for us, we've got a couple of quality players in the pipeline, three of which have shown great interest.

masterofroc, 2008 may be the year of the BURN!!!
