Re: North Central Football League

True Sibson shone at training and is now captain of the U/18 team, top effort i say, probably the highest profile junior player coming through the ranks apart from that bramely fellow from wyche. Im sure he is very thankful he didnt take the big bucks from the club that offered. There are plenty of years for the big fella to recieve the big bucks and im sure St Arnaud are pleased he didnt take it and stayed loyal.:thumbsu:

Just another Question whats going on with Riley Koops, seems the younger and less talented but more pacey Lachlan Foot who's FOOTball has come along in LEAPS and BOUNDS in the past year has STEPPED (pardon the pun) out of Koops's shadow and become birchips number one wingman. Needs to lift his game if he is going to regain this spot. Also missing out on interleague captain would have to be disapointing for him lets just hope it doesnt effect his FOOTy.
There must be another nige sibson around cause if u r talking about the one from starnaud all u blokes r kidding yourselve. Unless big king is perhaps nige himself

No No he only has two email addresses not three, clearly sibson is a freak the best under 18 in the league.

Re: North Central Football League

Does he have any credentials to back this statement up? e.g. Member the bendigo pioneers squad? or something along those lines?
playing pioneers doesn't mean you've got credentials. just look at the sides over the last 5 or so years!!! Gone nowhere

Re: North Central Football League

He has no credentials, he is not as good as everyone says
The mail i have is that the kid in question asked his teammates in the U/18's to post on here that he is captain. That way, he can sell himself for the big bucks. It could work, he might get 2 cold pies per game, rather than 1.

Re: North Central Football League

Not 100% but his played about 4 senior games this year hasnt kicked a goal hasnt been in the best and has been picked in the back pocket......Who gives a fat rats vagina if his captain or not.

On to more pressing issues a few close games on the weekend.... a few run downs wouldnt hurt.

Wyche Narra have two weeks off for any sore spots

Ones Went down by 4 points a few silly decisions in the last quater cost the Demons the game but the finger can't be pointed at any one person especially not any one wearing white... or what ever color they wear these days. had the boys kicked straighter they wouldnt have need to worrie in the last quater. but at the end of the day the boys improved 110% on the previous weeks games, and ill be looking at carrying their performance on to the much fancied Pies. The Dee's will be with out Assitant coach Josh White for the rest of the year. knee gave way at about teh half way mark of teh first term, went under the knife today and the Demons will be waiting eagerly for him to make his come back next year. My best would have gone to my two heros Duff and Woosh after a few games in the twos they added a bit of spark and experience to the young Demons. Brayden Ison a 15-17 year old second gamer for the Demons slotted through 6. (would have him as captain of the NCFL squad over any one). Was a hard fought game right down to the wire. how all games should be played. pitty St. Arnaud got to taste the choclates and not us but was good to see my good mate Beefy hang around for a few beers..... liked the joint that much he even came back..... (held out till now to give you a mention big fella)

The Twos held together by the ever improving back six...... and came away with their first pocket full of points. Pretty sure it was the first time the Demons had a full 18 on the grass. and still a few missing. a couple of the young blokes proved they are ready for a recall in to the senior squad. again was a good contest all day. Dick Riley now has two weeks to take care of more pressing issues, he brought along his brother brad along for a kick and was very handy across the half back line. think there may have been another ex-Charlton boy in the crowd who will get talked around to pulling a demons jumper on in the next couple of weeks. All eyes will be firmly focused on the grudge match as the Pies favorite son AB takes on his old team for the first time since giving up his stripes.

Truck over and out

Why would ya argue about that? They are both good young talented footballers. foots skills obviously hasnt affected koops though, as has been in the best each game since his come back from his injury. Both good future talent for the bulls though

Re: North Central Football League

Anyone know the interleague teams for this weekend?

Who cares, if an on baller thats kicked 20 goals ands gets best on 3/5 games cant get a game they can get stuffed. I want to represent the league, but when you pick on reputations you can nick off. It would have been great to play in the last ever game of NC/Mallee. Its almost impossible to train together, should be picked on form of first 5/6 weeks:thumbsdown:

No player is sitting on 20 goals.

I also see quite a few names on that list that should be playing. Lets see how it turned out. Anyone got the side? We all know the coach reads here, and likely posts. Cmon mate, out with it!

The Yarra-Valley Mountain squads are posted.
Under 18s: http://charltonfc.vcfl.com.au/teamsheet.asp?hm=0&game=395133&comp=6819&orgid=2
Seniors: http://charltonfc.vcfl.com.au/teamsheet.asp?hm=0&game=395132&comp=6818&orgid=2

Good luck to all three teams representing North Central Mallee, and North Central respectively, aswell as those Netball and Hockey teams representing the league.

Re: North Central Football League

The nigel sibson that everyone talks about is not going to get any further in his footy carrer, i have seen him train and is one of the most laziest and slow young footballers i have seen!:p

Re: North Central Football League

Hey Lads, just a quick question, how are me old burn boys travelin, and what on earth happened to them against Boort? Are they still flag favorites?

Go the Burn :thumbsu:

Re: North Central Football League

North Central/Mallee FL 15.7 97 def Yarra Valley Mountain District FL 13.17 95
Good effort by the boys, helped out by some inaccurate kicking by the looks but a good effort anyway. Anyone know who the best players/goal kickers were?

Re: North Central Football League

Maybe Rocco could give us a bit of a write up on the 2 NCM games on Saturday, best players goal kickers etc. ??
