Re: North Central Football League

i feel that there might be some split personalities among us, who the hell speaks about a topic too themselves?

Re: North Central Football League

So how much do we start out with centre?
$1000.
You keep the tallies???

yeah open to ideas, but i think that 500 would be better, may help to make more rationale bets and fellas will only be able to bet on posted markets to keep it simple and then we can see who is the best big footy punter for the ncfl.

will have differrent types of markets each week.

how does that sound. but just start with the basics. min bet $20 max $200.

what is peoples thoughts??

If you've got some spare time on a monday to summarise and post results i think it's a great idea.

Centre Bets Virtual Punting. I'm sure ROC would even start a new thread just to post results of bets and peoples tally's!

Abletts already $20 down unfortunately.:D

Re: North Central Football League

tim and sam and whatever else u call yrself on this thread
can the sainters beat the wedderburn boys who will be all pumped up with the reunion on the weekend

Re: North Central Football League

hey guys, long time observer yer havn't posted much. Thought the virtual betting sounds a great idea.

Anyway my tips for this weekend:

Charlton vs Birchip - Charlton's pace to be too fast on a dry day, birchip to be well surviced by ryan kicking 8. Charlton by 5 goals

Wedderburn vs St.Arnaud - On there back to reuinon day, wedderburn to be too strong but not without an early scare from the saints. Wedderburn by 6 goals.

Boort vs Donald - Boort to comfotably account for a struggling Donald outfit by 9 goals. Perryman kicking 6.

And for my first week of bets..

ill take $100 on Boort ($1.20) into wedderburn ($1.60) = to win $192.

Re: North Central Football League

Ciurleo should be out there leading from the front. Actions speak 1000 words. He would get alot of respect from the younger ones who were still in nappies when he last played. He is touching 30 so you think it is nearly now or never.
Have to totally agree with u bayonet, he cant keep saying he would love to play and then doesnt, if he wasnt so bluffed by the mrs he might actually have a crack

Re: North Central Football League

I thought there would be some results on here by now. MOR, what's going on? Did St. A get killed? Saw the Charlton v Birchip-Watchem game today - was very similar to the Ess v WC game Friday night, with Charlton looking to steal the game in the first quarter but the Bulls fighting back to win a very entertaining game.

Re: North Central Football League

Very intriguing season taking place at the moment with Birchip pulling off a major upset. It would seem that both clubs were hampered by the interleague with Birchip having the bye, then interleague, and Charlton having interleague, then the bye. It proved very difficult for both teams to come up after two weeks off. Looks like plugger turned back the clock for Boort, and St.Arnaud again have kicked over 100 points and still got flogged!

Word coming from Birchip was that some Wyche players rang the Birchip coach after last week's game stirring some trouble. You'd have to think that's not quite the smartest move considering they've still got to play each other again this year.

I heard that rumor, however i think you'll find that it wasnt anyone from wycheproof! ive been told that it came from nulliwal! anyway onto footy, birchip wining has made it slightly more difficult for the demons and the saints to squeeze into the 4. the season is just taking shape, but i think I am right in saying it will be one of the most even years in the ncfl for a while

Re: North Central Football League

Have been chatting to a number of Birchip fellers of the w/e and they informed me that someone rang Robbie lee sayin it was Boe Bish whioch is believable as he does make alot of phone calls usually too girls tho, however the actual phone call was one of his (Lee's) mates from horsham just hangin a bit of sh!t on him, grub's intelligence i know isnt the highest but i wouldnt think he'ld be that silly, the leader of the ginger ningers is still playin good footy despite his numerous phone calls.... at all hours.

Re: North Central Football League

does anyone know how cam weston went in the seniors yesterday???
How bout ya ask "talk it up" :D

Nah, Good Crowd, Good win, he couldn't have asked for much more... He played good tactical Footy. He would have lost a foot race to (almost) every opponent, but he managed to use his head well... Good Debut by the Young Fella :thumbsu:

Redragger hit the nail on the head... another big scoring loss by the saints.. 45 goals scored..... only this time, 40 or so weren't to the opposition (re vs boort last year)

We played 2 quarters of reasonable footy (first quarter, part of the 2nd, and part of the last) and thats not enough to win a game. Missing Gifford, Moerman, Ciurleo hurt, but given that, Sammy Coloe played well on Ben Rose. and losing Wilson after a knock to the head early on didn't help. Fithall with a foot injury, and Coloe played most the last quarter with quite a limp...anyhow... the Saints are on the improve, and good things are to come :)

PS... Stenhouse is a freak! got 10 goals... only 3 of them were due to good Delivery from the Midfield.. from what i remember, 2 from free's... and 5 which he just pulled a mark out of the hat. Good on him! one Talented Unit!

Off topic.... How many "tipped" Perryman to be the top scorer for the weekend!?

Well if you insist MOR i tell u how the young feller went.. i thought he played ok for his debut he did what he was told and it really paid off (he got neally a full game on the ground).. had plenty of chances as the small forward i think he had 3 shots on goal but didn't convert (S.Barnes was quite happy to stop one on the line and put it thru for him).

Stenhouse may have kicked 10 but he could of kicked more.. St. Arnard look good but the back line is lacking structure..

It was great to see Benny DeAraugo back in good form.. Aswell as everyones favourite Dean Lockhart who played his 200th yesterday..
