Very handy inclusion for the Redbacks this week. Had heard whispers of this but didnt realise he was coming in so soon. Will really strengthen the side. Could be the final string to the bow.

Wyche/Narra v Wedderburn
Another hiding, Redbacks by 15 goals.

Are you serious mate or what? No way will Wedderburn beat Wyche/Narra by 15 goals. Could go either way at the home of the Dees. Remember we only lost by 4 or 5 goals down there.

This has got to increase. Way too easy to qualify. Must come into line with other leagues in this regard.

Another lil tidbit im just clarifying... Given that only 2 games are required in the 1's, can a Permitted player, play finals? (ie Drought Permit player, played 2 games at the start of the season...) id doubt they could, but just one of those things...

I see that David Clark and Al Smith made the team for the VAFA. Clark on a wing Smith on a F/Flank. Good effort by these guys although I've got a feeling they're going to get well and truly pantsed by the VCFL. Would it be fair to say that these two guys wouldn't have been close to VCFL selection last year when they were playing?

This has got to increase. Way too easy to qualify. Must come into line with other leagues in this regard.

I could be wrong but pretty sure that is the minimum... I think there could be a certain number of games that you have to play for the club (either seniors / seconds / whatever) to qualify as well.

It's not as bad as it sounds because you still have to be registered before June 30 anyway. So it's not like they can grab someone from another club 2 weeks before finals.

Yes a HUGE inclusion for the burn... Some people around the club believe Sutherland is the best player they have had for quite a long time.... Should really strenthen the team even more heading towards the end of the season

I think if u took the time 2 look @ the best players for the Uni Blacks every week Patty u would find Al Smith in there majority of the time, therefore obviously a pretty handy sorta footballa!!!

I have kept an eye on the web as i go past their result to get ours... And he is obviously having a great year for Uni Blacks.
But bare in mind Uni blacks are a B grade Ammo side.
