Re: North Central Football League

Just heard from a big name in the bendigo league, Charlton flag in '08' G train as coach, Robins to join him, could be in for the AC job. Any other news on clubs recruiting for next year. also Chunka McDonald debuts for the demons good on ya Chunk

Re: North Central Football League

HAVE Lockhart's Wedderburn boys lost a game in this league yet --- maybe an early season loss slipped my memory.
But surely it wouldn't be more than one , would it ????

Re: North Central Football League

You Boort kids dont like it when someone says something negative do ya!!!

I was having a go at the effort by 2 of them in particular... One of which has played a game or 2 in the seniors, and looked like he didn't want to be there... not sure if the ole HN has been in their ear and told them to keep it easy... but their effort was nothing short of DISGRACEFUL!

so roc who were those 2 in particular you were talking about

Re: North Central Football League

Matt and Mark co coaches eh gerta ;) Why not Brendan, Ben, and ole Douggy too!!!! ;)

I heard a rumour that Matty was going to KF!?

If the G-train returned to coach (which i would doubt would happen, as i think Charlton's next senior coach would be one or two blokes who would have been eyeing it off for a while - both non-playing), i'd have to try to lure a few brothers out of retirement..

Re: North Central Football League

Thanks for that Roc...Keep me posted on the details of st.arnaud! Look forward to hearing about them on my return!!

Re: North Central Football League

You ;) although i think it was more a case of the kids not using the guns as well as they would under an actual coach.

do u think u no who this is do ya roc. well we didnt didnt really hav the guns to work with. dont u think walklate was a very good coach

Re: North Central Football League

Compared to a full time coach that coaches a side from (w/ juniors) Janurary or so.... he wasn't "the best" As was highlighted earlier, School Footy is different lmao ;)

Re: North Central Football League

Wow!!

Donald over Wyche... Congrats to young Lucas Anderson on a seemingly impressive Debut (has he played Reserves yet? might do a Dan Needs and str8 to the 1's!?)

Birchip-Watchem over Wedderburn... Id love to see Stenhouse kept to 4 or less goals next weekend ;)

Wedd Reserves over Birchip Reserves...hmm St A over Wedd easily, Birchip over St Arnaud easily, and Wedd over Birchip quite easily... GAME ON!

Re: North Central Football League

Did u venture over to Boort Roc???

I managed to venture across and watch a quarter and a bit before heading back down the road to watch the last half of Serp vs Newbridge.

Re: North Central Football League

You know i did :p dont ask stupid questions lol
Fair enough roc... So what did u think of the game??

I did enjoy watching the Boort U16s play... Jeez they play a good brand of footy, but please boys, get rid of the crap you go on with after you sing the song its embarrassing.

Re: North Central Football League

Both sides wasted opportunities in the first... then it opened up a bit... The footy wasn't the greatest, but the result works for me ;) Wyche are officially out of the race, Todays lost made it mathematically impossible (entirely) from what i see

Re: North Central Football League

good to see lucas anderson kick 2 goals and get in donalds best today. he has a bright future ahead of him.

Re: North Central Football League

Roc, what makes 2008 different about 2007? is the club looking at some new players or are you just hoping teh current players will get better?
