Well if they know about his... urm... pre-draft behaviour, they're well within their rights to be a bit cold towards him. I wouldn't read too much into it though. There have been posts with him socialising, and I don't think he's fracturing the group the way JHF did, but I do think he's a lone dickhead in a sea of fairly decent lads
Extraordinarily lucky.

I get Robert Flower vibes from FOS, wonderful mover, skilful and good overhead like the great Demon no.2
That is incredibly ******* high praise. From memory, Robbie was perhaps the best wing man of his generation.

If he is only a quarter as good as Robbie, then we have a very good player.

Now corrected - only the 2nd best wingman of his generation :)

Did I imagine it or did I see Luke Parker grab the front of his jumper with both hands when he kicked a goal. If I'm right that to me was a sign he is very much a shinboner now. So pleased to see him at our club.

Equally so today with the performances of Caleb, Jack and Jake

I took it as a joke

As in he was jokingly celebrating like it was a real game.

Arguably no one. But if I was mates with Lazzarro and a player, I'd harbour some suspicions/resentment regardless of whether it was fair.
Why?
He's an early/mid 20yr old who couldn't get into the best 22.
He should have known the writing was on the wall when he was regularly relegated to the vfl and we kept drafting mids.

Yes he absolutely did so look out for the first goal Round 1

(Followed by Cornefrancis outrage in the days after)

Sheez, Powell, Daniel

^ Best 3 on the ground, in that order for me.

Duursma was really good. Phillips provides an important defensive element in our midfield that feels right when he's in there. Thought Parker was a little underwhelming but it's a preseason run around.

I like LDU, Sheez and Powell as the starting 3 in the middle with Phillips the 4th off the bench. Guys like Parker, Simpkin and Mckercher to run through there

300% worth of CBA TOG. For mine, to begin the season, ideally we'd have minutes split :
LDU: 75%
Powell: 70%
Sheezel: 65%
Phillips: 50%

That leaves 40% for Mckercher, Parker and Simpkin. Sometimes we might throw Zurhaar or Curtis through there.

At times Daniel made it look like the blues had an extra player on the ground. Just really smart with his positioning and constantly involved. Completely different to how we’ve looked in the past few years.

I’ve been a huge fan from day one, I mean who hasn’t been lol, but could not be anymore impressed with Kerch. He’s a lot more than a one trick give’n’get pony. Noticed he was also very vocal when the young mids got together and clearly the other guys were giving him their full attention.
He's going to make a huge difference. We finally have a reliable distributor from half back. He'll be top 5 in our b&f for the next 5 years.

An absolute steal for pick 25.

Getting more excited about mcKercher. They way he'd give it off and then run past demanding it back. Serious class, leadership and self belief for a young bloke.
One instance where he received the ball in a hospital position at half-forward, about to be crunched from two or three directions. And he somehow half-bounced off, half evaded all of them, and streamed on inside 50. Not the most magical moment of the day, because to be honest the pink team were garbage tacklers by and large, but the confidence in daring to try it was pretty impressive

How the hell is Finbar still that shit of a kick?
Sometimes you can teach it, sometimes you can't. Mason Cox went one way as a basketballer who'd never picked up a footy, Finnbar went the other. Don't see how it gets fixed, to be honest. He looked as comfortable as, and kicked it like, any random bloke from the crowd

Only saw the second half, but gee there is a lot to like about Goad, he could be off the charts good. Whitlock surprised the hell out of me, looks composed, kicking is superb, I sense most people will quickly lose the angst over the draft pick given up for him. Finnbar, should spend every moment of the day at home, when he's not practicing his kicking at the club, just bouncing a footy. Would help with his his ball drop, if he could just sort his kicking out we'd have a player and a half. But the main point I came on here to make was Will Phillips, loved him going head to head with Parker in the last quarter. What I really liked is the body on body stuff, defending first, but very quick to break away into space and collect the ball when it went his team's way. I think he easily beat Parker in those contests, and looked explosive finding space. Fingers crossed everything has turned for him now.
