It was stunning how St Kilda players were awarded free kicks for tackles, while North players were lucky to earn a ball up. Similar for holding the man. The frees were not paid with equity.

Female umps should be confined to the AFLW. Then when they constantly f*ck up no one gives a sh!t.

I have no problem with gender. I’d even say that my two best bosses were female and one in particular was the most competent manager I’ve worked with. Having said that, I’ve also had female managers who I despised or who I know were frauds. Some of the males were no better however.

Gender makes no difference. Eleni is a very bad umpire. She is robotic In the way she umpires. She might know the rules but she has no sense of the game. On several occasions she paid frees differently, almost always to St Kilda’s favour which creates some doubt regarding her integrity. If she is an honest person then she is not a very good umpire.

Defence as a unit looked more mobile and worked together much better. Slow start but eventually our disposal coming out of D50 was at an acceptable level. We didn’t invite pressure over and over again like in the last few weeks.

We must persist with Goater and Archer down there. I would replace Young with Bergman and it looks such a better balanced side when exiting the defensive half.

Saints are in free-fall and are really a bottom 6 side yet we couldn't seal that 3 quarter time lead in a low scoring game.

Effort was there but the harsh reality is that the following are VFL grade footballers now and it's hurting us:

Taylor - tried hard though
Ziebell. Father time.
McDonald.
Shiels - see Ziebell and Taylor
Howe.
Young.

The following are at the crossroads:

Tucker
Goldy - Purely age. A damn warrior and was great today.
X - Boy he needs a big pre season. Real big.
Stephenson - heaps of talent but needs a rocket. Game was set up for him.

The following are huge persists:

Goater - a talent. Needs to play in the midfield.
Archer - just plug him in.
Ford - he can play. Quality.

They deserve heat to come onto them when they * up, but they're completely off limits, have to keep those lips zipped.

Especialy the female one. Eleni is not VFL standard net alone AFL. I was listening on the radio so didnt know who the ups were till after half time when I was able to get to the telly. The minute I heard her voice I know we were doomed
