Yep, I don’t get why more supporters don’t support or watch the girls play.

I watch every game regardless both men’s and women’s, the standard is getting better by the year and it’s still OUR teams.

Melbourne is the highest scoring team in the comp and we kept them to one goal through three and a half quarters while laying 100 tackles. That was brilliant - brought a tear to the eye.
Complete demolition.

Crocker Masterclass - put smith in the middle and she was massive.
Defence was good but it was in the middle where this was won.
Every player was ferocious in every contest
Pullar and Shannon have made us a much harder side.
And gatt this kid is a wonder - she just needs to believe and she can be anything. She’s tough as well.

Randall epitomised that attack, she was strutting and prowling the forward line and showing them it was her forward line. Almost a completely unblemished team performance. Great finals footy. 2 to go.

I've just been watching the Shierlaw/Eddy goal on repeat. It starts all the way from the Melbourne kick in 7:45m into the 3rd quarter. There are a couple of long kicks and Melbourne gets a lucky bounce and bursts forward but they can never get it to someone clear.
Watch Erika O'Shea during that defensive transition: She just runs to harass, sprinting constantly from one to another and closing them down. Even when she is seemingly out of it she is sprinting back to be an extra to help out. By my count she influences the play six times in that passage, all the way from the centre/forward to the back flank. Shierlaw was spectacular and awesome but it's Erika's goal for mine,

Every girl laid at least 2 tackles today, but it started in the engine room, Garner, Rennie, Mia King and Bruton just didn't let the Dees mids off the hook all game.
