I prefer Davidson playing, at full strength. In the last two weeks we have shown that we are the best team in the league. We will win the GF and deserve it. No "what would have happened if Dakota played" questions. Just an acknowledgement that NMFC's AFLW team are the best team in 2023.

Do you mean All-Australian captain? She's taken that out before, so probably won't get it again (nobody's got it twice yet).

If you mean the AFLPA award for best captain, that gets announced tomorrow. I'd say she's even less likely for that, since the players tend to vote with hurt feelings etc.

I’m not sure if it’s the official pre-game pub but the Sarah Sands Hotel in Sydney Road Brunswick would be good, a very short stroll to the ground from there.

Or Naughton’s, the Sarah Sands has been gentrified

Ikon is enough for a North v Lions game but you'll encourage more people (including neutrals) to attend if it was at Marvel.

I know right. Assume if there is an allocation of tickets that were given to clubs and/or corporates that are not used they are returned. Sucks for those that miss out.

It’s in the contract that if gf played in vic it would be ikon park. That won’t change a week out.

Ikon park is a bigger Advantage for us anyway

Played our last 2 games there, used to the ground

Just enjoy a packed ikon park will be a great atmosphere
