Yes but non members can get tickets from 4 today

I just received my code. I have long cherished the memory of being at the MCG for our VFL premiership in 1975 so I plan to be at Ikon Park for our first AFLW premiership in 2023.

I 1975 I lived in the country and only decided to go a couple of days before the game and rang up and got a ticket straightaway. Thanks to modern technology I have now received an incorrect bar code and am now 42 in the queue to speak to our membership department. I got to 9 inn the queue and then my phone cut off. So I will just wait for an updated email or 4 oçlock

Barcode not working for me either - it is truly astounding that a business (Ticketmaster) whose sole job is selling tickets for event is so awful at it. I knew the likelihood of this happening was about 80%

An issue with barcodes meant North Melbourne members were unable to buy tickets for their elimination final against Essendon at the MCG on Saturday.

There is a saying about trying to teach a donkey new tricks and it would take a billion lifetimes and it will never learn.
Apply this to North Melbourne.
2014 we got burnt for our biggest game in years. Fast forward 9 YEARS and the same mistakes are still happening.

Yeah we rigged the entry arrangements back in 2009 when we affiliated ourselves with the MUGARS. 9 years before they allowed us into the league.

Fact is we were f***ing overlooked and should have been an inaugural team, it is and forever will be bullshit that we weren't.

Not only overlooked, were then forced to enter the league as ‘North Melbourne-Tasmania’….

There have been hurdles we have had to jump that other clubs just have not. Hurdles that are a result of us doing it basically before anyone was and that just not sitting well at the AFL.

Credit to the Girls on the AFLW site reviews the prelim finals, and Lucy Watkins takes a detour to explain that this achievement by North Melbourne has been something the club has worked towards for much longer than when they entered the league, noting that our club supported women’s footy long before there was an AFLW, long before it was trendy, and that foundation was why players flocked in as soon as they could. Very enjoyable listening.
