We must be the least talked about undefeated team in the history of the game. It’s like we don’t exist or we’re just an annoyance for the media. We don’t even get the standard underdog credit. It’s really disrespectful to the team.
I keep looking around thinking 'why is everyone else wall to wall coverage and where is anything about nmfc'. It's very weird tbh.

It's this. The AFLW are pissed that the winning team isn't Collingwood, Carlton, Hawthorn, Essendon, Richmond or WCE.
I’m totally OK with the more popular clubs getting more column inches. That’s just the way of things in a capitalist world. I don’t expect or ask for favours. What I’m not OK with is the apparent “barracking” for other teams. Last night’s carry-on after the Hawks v Port game was way beyond the pale. It was almost like there were only 3 teams remaining in the competition.

Of course it’s that.

Nothing we ever get is going to come easy.

We seemed to handle the heat just fine v Brisbane in Rd 1, we now have a full season of fitness and conditioning under the belt, Emma K back and lets go girls
We handled it fine on the day and then backed it up with our worst game of the season. That's the concern. Playing in extreme heat absolutely makes the recovery harder and can affect performance for a while. The slightest disadvantage could be decisive, especially in a grand final.

There was travel back to Melbourne after the Brisbane game and some unsettled weather during the Geelong game. I would like to think that like Port we have also improved since the start of the season and will better handle the conditions the next time around.

If only it could be an Adelaide vs Brisbane grand final so we can see the best teams in the country play off!

Apparently the 2nd game of a season is difficult as well. Hoping for some common sense...delayed start, longer breaks, drinks breaks etc.
