I was surprised when Jazzie was named All Australian captain, but now I think the vote count must have been leaked to the selectors and they were embarrassed by this farce.

I agree 100%. It was a make good because as much as I love Jammin, nobody in their right mind gives her captaincy of a team that Emma Kearney is a part of. It was clearly to make up for what was about to unfold.

I also felt that Gil was reading out votes especially early in the count as though he wanted to get it over with and didn't want to be associated with the shit show.

Yep exactly, big fan of her as both. As well as Tarni Brown (her father) and also Bec Milller. (Friend of mine from primary school).

Two things I don’t understand the argument for are:

1. Jas shouldn’t have been named Captain because Kearney is in the side and she is North’s Captain.

2. That Anderson missing the AA team is strange because she won an umpires award.
If she was close to the top of the coaches award as well then I could understand but she was miles behind.

As I recall, in the lead up to one of the games she was asked about North picking up a few Pies players on entry into the comp.
She said something to the effect of “I see myself as a pretty loyal person so I was disappointed they left.”
