Outside of Jazzy, Bruton, Riddel & Kearney, our ball use is very average. Those four link up and deliver I50 and we look like a contender. Add another NMFC player in those chains and see the ball bombed or turned over.

Key backs and forwards are doing well, but all the wings, flanks, pockets are letting us down.

.....went early.

Not really. Bloody outrageous that we didn’t get to hear the song when they were singing it. Surely fans deserve that at the very least. We could hear them singing it in the background while we endured the footage of a commentator trying to wax lyrical about the losing team that didn’t kick a goal.

Very scrappy game. I think we are really missing Bresnehan. The game changed last week when she went off injured and it seemed to me that the girls continued today without the polish they showed in the first three weeks. Mind you, the wind was horrible today and did not lend itself to a good game

Anyway, a win is a win is a win.

A weird quirk in a wonderful players game: I'm not sure I've ever seen Emma King connect on a kick off the ground. She has an almost uncanny ability to miss the footy

Really stodgy negative tactics from GWS made the game a crap one to watch. We are still a good enough team to win in spite of those tactics. Bruton my best, from Pullar and Garner

Craven and Gavalas would have to be on the very edge of the side, Gav maybe just not fit enough - saw her stop chasing a few times today. Craven, I'm just not sure she offers much. We clearly do miss Bresnehan as well

Feels like the whole team are still taking selfies and chatting with the crowd. Fantastic to see.

Bella Eddey spent a good amount of time with my daughter and her friend on the boundary after the game.

Footy at Arden St is the best.

We definitely weren't good. It would've taken a monumentally shithouse effort to lose to this GWS side who barely even seemed to consider the possibility of winning, their goal was just to limit the damage as much as they could. Even when they got the ball they were just chipping it around like they were a goal up with a minute to go, when we let them get clumsy handball chains going they looked like they couldn't believe what was happening.

Oh as well

Ferguson and Wright, for all the negativity thrown their way, are the leaders of a backline (and shout out to O'Shea and Kearney as well) that has conceded 81 points in 5 games. Walls

Gav could be the slowest player in the aflw

And yep craven is not in our best team

Need to get Granville in

Absolutely atrocious winds, good to see all the usual faces there.

If anyone ever sees me at an Arden St AFLW game (probably juggling kids), feel free to say g'day if you recognise me. Always keen for a quick chat 👍🏽

Is the wind having much effect on the kicking?

Yes. It was - very strong and played havoc with kicking and marking.

After watching the game back on TV, I couldn't believe how adamant the commentators were that the wind was strongly favouring the swimming pool goal (right of screen). Every player who was interviewed during and after the game insisted that the wind was swirling and blowing across the ground and not favouring either end. But the morons on the microphone stuck to their narrative as if saying otherwise would be to admit they had no ****ing idea from the start (which isn't far from the truth).

Did they see the boundary throw ins not make it as far as the ruck contest because the wind held up the ball? I was standing at various spots on the McCauley Rd side and it was mostly blowing right in my face.

Some SW winds, but a mostly squally wind day.

I could go on and on, but it did not favour any end or wing.
