Great to see Erika get a coaches vote and make the AFLW team of the week given the strong season she is putting together, and none of them are moving out - but as they and Flash were all in the team until her injury, you’d assume they’ll just revert to the structure and rotations they were using then. Craven was very good on the weekend and Tripodi was again handy (I thought she was running out of steam a bit, but she bounced back), so either would be unlucky.

I love Gav but would like to see Martin stay in for a couple of games at least.

Tess Craven is really starting to build into that half back role, but she will surely have to hand it back to Nicole Bresnehan when she's available. That presents a challenge for Tess when the only open space is high half forward as that really isn't her caper.

Mia King made herself a key part of the midfield and Kearney moved to the backline - wouldn’t be surprised to see Tess make herself a spot in the middle of the ground in time too, but it’s hard to get the game time right now.

A big ask going up against the reigning premier and such an important game. It will be interesting to see how much faith Crock has in her. He certainly doesn't mind giving the big jobs to the Irish girls. Last week, sending Erica O'Shea to the most dangerous Port Adelaide forward for instance.

I'd show some faith and play her this weekend but if she really struggles I'd give her a rest the following week against Adelaide.

It will be interesting to see which way Crock goes. I still don't mind Gav but it would be nice to see Granville come into the side at some point as well.

Dees coming off a late Sunday game in Perth where it was 34 degrees during game. This means a late return home and its a 6 day break.

Dont think we have played them at Ikon with most of our games at Casey.

Another option is Roos + 10 1/2 points on TAB Fixed at $1.87. That is too big a start in my view. Sportsbet only offering + 6 1/2.

Edit Hanks copped a shoulder knock in WC game. She came back on but will be sore on short back up.

Yes I also chose to erase from memory any games at Princes Park versus Melbourne that may or may not have happened.

The winger has built nicely into the season, finding plenty of the ball on the outside of the strong North Melbourne engine room. She's averaging 12 disposals and 3.1 tackles this season and uses the ball nicely.

Maybe Kearney stays further back rather than running to the forward line? She seems to have the tank and the wiles, but I don't know that she has the speed required.

I think Ferguson may play on Hore who tends to play closer to goal while Harris plays as a centre half.

I think Rennie is going to play an important role this week, when the ball is in our forward half, she plays a kick behind and will need to be at her intercept marking best. May also have to play in front of Harris to try and curtail her influence.
