I have no Animosity towards Griffin Logue Or Darcy Tucker.

Dockers botched up the Logue deal. I wished we gave Logue his 1st offer of a 2 year extension at the end of 2021. That means he would of been out of contract at the end of 2024 and a free agent. He still would of got a decent deal in the end.

Thank Colin young, Logues agent for sending him to North on a 5 year deal.

Darcy Tucker? Had he stayed one more season at freo, he would of been a free agent too.

Saying that, if Logue was fully fit on freos list, he be playing this weekend.

Two guys you wish we could clone, hey? Need them at both ends. I'm confident that the Sheezel positional handover will go relatively smoothly this year, but I don't know what we're going to do about that KPF hole. You could see Larkey was being freed up a bit already just by Chom being there with him in the third and crashing packs. Chom however just needs to stay back and cut his teeth, his ceiling is a lot higher as a KPD to me.

The current backline is set up to play quick turnover, counter attack footy.

There is only one problem, in order to do that you need to force a turnover, which that current mix can’t do.

The balance is all out of whack.

I think that we dont have enough on field leaders to be able to recognise the changes in the oppositions game plan until we reach the half time break. By then its too late

Throughout time whenever senior players have been belted from pillar to post all week by the media and fans, they come out and show a bit the following week. North were the kings of this. Terrible loss, followed by a gun performance.

It was so sad to receive my "we're in Hobart" email this week. Never thought I'd see the day where the club would have to let me know that they're working on "sticking tackles, bringing the ball to ground in marking contests, and controlled ball movement". Great to hear the club is working on fundamentals of the game - ... FMD how long has this forum been talking about sticking tackles??? At least a decade.
