Hoping for a win.

Expecting a fierce contest between our extremely inexperienced team and their fairly inexperienced one.

Hell this game could be anything. Expecting a scrap at the coal face and Hawthorn to play their usually successful (against us) keepings off.

Hopefully Clarko has a few tricks up his sleeve and our kids revel in the opportunity this game presents compared to what they’ve had to face in the prior games. We’ll also need the senior players to lift.

Meh, North by 5 goals as the midweek wrestling training saps the Hawks of the requisite energy to run out the match at full steam ahead.

C’mon you bastards! 👊

4.05pm wtf?!

Confident we can take it up to them. Unfortunately there will be 20 minutes of dross where we concede 6.8 and cost ourselves the win. Max Ramsay aka The Street to be a late in and boot five.

For the other mob, my serious congrats to Chief Dunstall on Legend status and a great career on and off the field. Jeff Kennetts and that bozo SYL can GAGF however.

In summary I just want to wish the team good luck, we're counting on you.

Attitude is everything tomorrow.

I'll cop mistakes, I'll cop going over the line in frustration, I'll cop sheer panic when Hawks get ascendancy for a period. I won't cop half the squad dropping their head though. It's our most winnable game so far this year, we're both 0-5, unless we're going into the last quarter 10 goals down we're a chance. Play your bloody hearts out and earn some self respect.

This club best chance for a win a loss today and a bad loss with put the tour h on our club.
Can only hope we get a crowd and a home crowd not be out numbered by Hawthorn supporters

Gee wiz with West Coast slaughtering Freo, Geelong not only still winning but beating the lions at the Gabba, even in wet conditions, don't get me wrong Brisbane are a very good team but they are soft. Carlton beating GWS, maybe that was 50/50, the pies 31 points down and their season in tatters but low and behold they come back to slaughter the power in three of the best quarters of the year!

Wow this year is "crazy man"! With no Lewis, Chol as their only damaging tall forward, I'm predicting a 44 point win to the Roos, and man of the match will be LDU. First win of the year and then we jet set to Tassie for the fragile crows who this year had grand plans of playing finals alas they got another umpiring blunder that cost them the match, seriously you couldn't script this stuff if you tried!

Need to win.

Things will get very ugly if we lose.
Things are pretty ugly anyway - a single game neither fixes everything nor wrecks everything.

I’ll be there with no expectations but thinking we can win this and very much hoping we do. Like the last game of last year, I want to see the players happy out there, and guys who haven’t experienced an AFL win getting the chance to do that. I’m also really hoping to see in person some of this Northball action from the preseason and the Freo first half.

Won't be venturing from the safety of the hills for this clash. Bloody still running under the evening curfew. Better to be safe than sorry.

A win doesn't change a thing imo. But that doesn't mean there isn't positives to be gleaned.

18 months into a rebuild and wins will be rare as me applauding Dan Andrews. Actually that will never happen tbh.
I think Duursma could get of the leash up against a weaker outfit.

Hoping Phillips plays the role we want him to. Think that is a defensive role fwiw.
Will watch Steller closely. Hoping Jy has a cracker.
Big Charlie who continues to flourish. He is our most important player, believe it or not.
He will win plenty of plaudits from the pundits which will pleasantly please people. Or piss them off , probably the latter tbh.

If we walk away from 2024 with Wardlaw, McKercher, Comben, Duursma, Ford, Dawson, Phillips all part of our best 22 it will nary matter how many games we've won.

In saying that North in a canter. Our midfield will smash them.

Have a lovely day y'all .

We are conceding double the league average in points against on turnover.

Clean that up and we may have a chance
I reposted that twitter post from the king highlighting that very issue vs Costa Farms. We need to be composed with and without the footy and pressure pressure pressure and we win.

Footy is a simple game. Its not complex. Do the fundamentals well and the rest will take care of itself

All this a win means nothing or changes nothing talk… it sure beats the hell out of losing. FFS you guys.

Just ******* win.
Exactly. A win means that we don't get declared the worst team in the comp.

A win might give us some confidence and momentum to win next week against the Crows. And then maybe even the Saints after that.

Who knows what we get today.

On the spectrum from smashed to smashing everything is on the table.

I’ll just focus on the one thing I can actually do and be there and as vocal as I can be.

F*** I dunno.
