Little mate is rolling his way through the School holiday program. Tomorrow was supposed to be a footy day for the GF, but obviously cancelled. Instead he went to school today all Kangarood up ... his old Higgo inspired #4 jumper, socks pulled up to the knee, lanyard with an old membership card and cap autographed by his 3 fave VFL players a few years ago, CJ, Nashy Holmes and Nick Rippon. Wanted to know if his Membership card had any money on it so he could buy stuff after school

I miss going to the G on a regular basis. A fun memory of kicking the ball on the ground after a match is a massive part of what football has lost, imo. The ship will be righted again, we'll get excited by those 3 fellas coming in, as well as Cadman and Harvey and whomever else we can snag in the draft. Then before you can say "pickle me grandmother", you'll be popping your chrissie tree up and giving the tele your best William Maurice Lawry impression of "yes, got him"
