The blues are allowing a Richmond forward to get left alone inside 25m. Got three goals from it.

Not sure what the go is with Sheehan but it wasn't about minutes. Seemed to be walking normally too.

McCasker got a knock to the head as well but seems to be ok. Hasn't gone back on yet though.

McKay looking good. Will be great when he's marking more as he's getting his hand to them.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I do think that there isn't much depth at either Carlton or Richmond.
Not knowing much about McKay, but seeing what Casboult did, you'd want to give him a shot soon.

Shorter quarters for preseason maybe?
From memory, they're about 20 minutes. Punt Rd is a fast track these days, so there would have been plenty of spread.

EDIT: there you go, the goal fest would have killed a lot of the clock without time on.

Was at the game for a bit and I have to say McKay looked good but I don't think he dominated the way some people are making it sound. Want to see him playing AFL soon though.

I was also there, here are some of my observations

Our defensive zone pressed a bit to high and we got caught out on the rebound a fair bit, and just like the Carlton vs Richmond, the Nth Blues didn't switch the ball as much as we did last year.

Nick Graham was among our best, he did nothing we have seen him do before at this level, but I am a fan

Alex Silvagni is a sound defender, good for depth, only criticism is he tends to take out his own teammates when crashing packs

Buckley struggled to judge the wind making his disposal look bad

Liam Sumner looked good with ball in hand.

Palmer rushes his disposals which is probably why his stats are skewed, but found it a bit

Zac Fisher is a natural hunter of the footy, his size and speed allow him to contort his body into positions to get around and under opponents and once he has it, his vision is elite.

JGM is brave and has a decent mark on him, hopefully he sees some senior action this year, looks capable this year.

Cam Poulson was nippy and has very neat skills, I noticed he runs both ways yesterday

Harry McKay was very busy reckon his GPS number would be huge. Aside from the obvious 4 goals, I thought his ability to work together with Liam Jones & Patty Kerr was sensational. His leading patterns created space for Jones & Kerr to operate in, plus he provided the option on multiple occasions as the exit from our kick ins.

Patty Kerr had a few shots on goal but struggled with accuracy

Williamson will be this years Jack Silvagni, as in, once drafted we thought he will be a long term prospect and may need a few years to develop his body and won't see any Senior game time, but after yesterday, its just a matter of time before we see Willow debut

How'd Sheehan go?
