1. OKEEFE umpiring the grand final is a disgrace. His umpiring this year in some games has been piss poor. Just does not deserve to be there .
2. Leigh Scannell getting a year for biting is a big tick for the NFL tribunal. Disgraceful act. Hopefully he never plays again.
3. Heidelberg by 6 goals or more.

That collision between the umpire and the Mont player was mind boggling to say the least. Total confusion from everybody that was there at the ground?
I have tried to avoid being too critical of the umpires all year but the standard of todays match was very poor and if this is the best the NFL can produce for a final then its a bloody embarassment for this competition.
No doubt this half wit Yellowman will get on here defending these dills and preaching to everyone how hard a job they have but this season i have seen some awful umpiring displays with too many of these umpires simply OVER umpiring games.

Well I waited and waited to see if you would be back to bag out umpires..... and on the eve of the grand final you did.
The two umpires you talk about above and okeefe are doing tomorrows game..... Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST 3 THIS YEAR.
I am not sure how many times I will need to say it on Big Footy. What you supporters think and the actual fact of who is a good umpires are poles apart. All three field umpires will officiate in their 2nd A1 final. So it's not a fluke. And trust me.... it kills me to say it as these blokes have beaten me to the A1... but they will get the job done.
Come over and see us on the hill tomorrow near the scoreboard and we will tell you why these guys got the GF.

Scannel 4 weeks striking, 12 months biting. Spot on outcome for an unsavoury incident.
Holy crap! I just saw the video of Scannel and i have to say that was close to the most disgraceful thing ive seen on a football field. .

Its a shame,they just stopped running in the last quarter.Heidelberg reducing the margin from 38pts to 26pts late in the 3rd quarter would have given them plenty of confidence going into the last quarter.Badluck to Monty

i think the key to the game was the last five minutes of the third 1/4, where heidelberg kicked two goals and reduced the margin to a relatively comfy 4.5 goals.
thought the bloke who turned the game was j.williams (#8) in the last quarter. Stiff not to be named in the best?

Good spectacle today, well run event, think the move to cramer street has been a ripper.

Mont lost it at the SELECTION TABLE by not including SAGEY.Jeez he would have been handy today,we might have been able to hang on but better luck next year.Don't know if Sagey will be there.??????????

They gave it their best shot but just ran out of legs in the end.Leave it be the bergs were just too good.The coin they paid out this year nearly didn't pay off though.Zantuck what a flop,he looks and plays like where's my pay check and I want it now, how did he ever play league football.Hollow victory with those bunch of individuals............great effort mont!
Hollow victory? Didn't seem very hollow last night but to be fair you Bundoora people wouldn't know much about celebrating Premierships. Zantuck played with a broken foot and was one of many Tigers who came into the game under an injury cloud, nevertheless he still has a Premiership medal so in my book that makes him worth every cent. Bad luck Mont you whinging bastards, got what you deserved if I may say so, 30 years is a long time. Before I go can someone tell me how good Mark Favrin is? Cheers

This had to have been the best final i have ever seen.... such hard at it intense footy, saw a few blokes go down and 2 getting stretcherd off! #49 for heidleberg not sure bout his name but they call him "big D", i rekon he lifted in the 2nd half giving the team a lift, Monty jus ran out of legs.. from the stands it was easy to see they just couldnt run anymore and with Favin going on a spree it was always going to be a heidlberg win, Great comeback great win!!
