agreed barmy we are heading down quickly.concentrating on our away rooms this year for all our visitors.thats the type of club we are worrying about everyone else. concentrating on the kids this year nd would expect to finish around 9th just staying up if we are lucky.no recruits likely and no money a true recipe for us to struggle. glad to see someone else understanding our immediate future. remember all training is on and the more under 19s we can get there the better. see you all at the den .

What is going on down there snakebite, normally by now at least 15 ex AFL guys have been linked with your mob, so far it has been very quiet, just waiting for feb 1 to role around before you unveil your next batch of star recruits or are you still pushing the line about the U19's comming through the ranks to fill the senior team?

a failure to plan is a plan for failure. we are planning for our next premiership which will be in division 2.then we will be able to brag wiith the panthers about winning premierships in divvy2.

Ah Snakebite ... could your tongue be any more firmly planted in your cheek?

Passed the Bergs on the bike as they were running down Burgundy this week.

Lot's of familiar faces, some prodigal sons... and what's with every Mont recruit that has a "sleeve" defecting to the Den after one season at the nest?
 
Thats what I mean. Surely there has to be a speck of light at the end of the tunnel. It can't be all doom an gloom. It'd be understandable if it was Mont or the Pantha. After all they're bunch of rabble. Someone, anyone, please some words of encouragement for the Berg.

Nth will probably be lucky to even field a team because mo-one wants to play there !
Heidelberg are headed for years in the doldrums.

Big call there snakebite, but then maybe you should check your playing list over the last 6 or 7 years, you may have had more ex Eltham juniors than ex Hberg juniors that played in your string of premierships.

There is a player who went to mont last year with a "sleeve" from then Den wasn't there? Moving in the other direction...

Please guys this is sounding like a 8th grade girls fight.

This is a great forum for us NFL fans to have a chat and some fun but seriously the recent drivel will turn new guys away. Obviously we are all bored with cricket and need our footy fix soon.

having said that, I think this short video sums up any comparisons between heidelberg and eltham.

the role of Heidelberg will be played by matthew seiter.

All a bit quiet on this forum at the moment!!! Anybody got any interesting facts (or rumours) to add??? Getting a bit tired of the tit for tat bickering on here....

Luke Stanton to Heidelberg should prove an interesting round 1 match up against his old side... Will be interesting to see how he goes with the Tigers after struggling to impress at the nest.

Correct.

As well as Stanton I was also reffering to Burns from the year before. Be interesting to see how Stanton goes actually ... not sure he quite got the feel of NFL footy last year..... he'll probably smash it this year :(
