went down to war memorial park tonight to watch the slime train, was i not mistaken in that justin leppitsch the orange roughy was training?
i thought he was a assistant at richmond? or is he going to be on the same deal as goodwin etc

can any1 confirm this?

I can 100 % confirm that Cloke is on $2000 a game. I'm not sure what his sign on fee was but if he plays every game then $50k would not be a huge exaggeration. This is ridiculous money for an ex-AFL hack, I would take a Dale Nolan, Shane Tennant, Josh Houlihan et al. any day of the week over Cameron Cloke - all are proven guns at this level.

Agree 100% its the grassroots guns that make this league in all divisions, these ex AFL players are handy to have but i don't think many of em would be playing for the emblem

Yep, KC's done a bolter.

I think you will find he was bolted.
The bolting was allegedly performed by a new bloke who said, "I'm thrilled to join a league that is booming", and then proceed to push the leader of the group that got them booming.

Does anyone else find it puzzling that the decision was made last Friday 18th and still nothing on the NFL website.

Why didn't they want us to know. Perhaps guilt?

Question to Bundoora affiliated posters - Matthew Dennis from VFL/TAC - just curious as to where he came from - does not happen to have played for Old Brighton in the Amateurs in the early days did he?

Bundoora U/19s got some experience and now playing with his mates:D

Gees...that just about covers our entire senior list payments at Macleod.

I guess that's only 140,000 cans of Carlton Draught that they need to sell to cover the expense

When using examples such as this it would be nice to mention the sponsor - BOAGS DRAUGHT, Pure tasmanian water... Did you come to the pre-season cup mate...?!?

I was actually in the Philippines, but I passed the ticket onto my brother
so thanks !
I think we are waiting for the new bar to be constructed before installing your fine brew on tap - hopefully this time next year.

Just interested to Know what other clubs are charging for beer this year. Noticed that at Whittlesea heavy cans are $3.80. What is your club charging this year?

I'm pretty sure Macleod are charging $4 for heavies and $3 for lights.
Can't see the point in mucking around with 20 cents change everytime someone buys a beer........
