Heard the Pies got Ben Camilleri on Scholarship,

Any news on Him?

They signed him yesterday.
Terriffic kid.Turns 18 later this year, so only just got in.
Has played senior grade footy for the last 2 years, more so last year.
Hff, mid, good awareness, skills and courage. he's been a pies (poor bugger ) supporter all his life. Reasonable build, about 5 11 ish, good frame, still a bit light, but muscular, will put muscle on and still growing.
Has been playing with Glenelg u/17s, think his contract has run out, so able to go onto Scholarship program.
Top kid who has done well in state champs, deserves his opportunity. Good luck to him.

Ted Widmer has signed with the St Kilda Football Club via the NSW Scholarship program, joining fellow scholarship holders Kane Murphy, Josh Duncan and Jackson Ferguson at the Club.

Widmer stands at 191cm, weighs in at 80kg and was an elite rower at Newington College where he recently completed his HSC at just 17 years of age. He plays his football alongside Josh Duncan at Pennant Hills which is the same Club that provided the Saints with Lenny Hayes and Blake McGrath, who was a recent addition to the rookie list.

If he is a resident Broken Hill player, how did he play in the Glenelg U/17 competition? Don't they have to be resident and playing in their local area for the past three years?
