$1.60 Boisdale Briag V Stratford $2.50 > Boisdale Briag will cramp down Stratford as their youthful side will be looking to run. Its even cramped enough playing 6 up Forward and I can't see Tim Light taking a pack mark every time the ball enters the forward line. Boisdale Briag to win by 5 goals

$1.30 Heyfield V Gormandale $3.00 > Another game for Heyfield, Gormandale to travel a distance for this game. Will tend to struggle against the season favorites. But they still have class.

$2.50 Sale City V Woodside $1.50 > Without Hider is a big loss and will be a big challenge for the Dogs. Schuback is in, and the Doggies have had the break. Woodside will be looking to bounce back after their heart broken loss which rumors tell me it was an umpires fault.

$4.50 TTU V Churchill $1.30 > Churchill will be too good, will need several players out to be an even game.

$2.30 Rosedale V Glengarry $1.70 > King sidelined for 8 weeks, but I still think they will be too classy for Rosedale. Seniors players such as Rick Galea coming back for Rosedale, but with Matthew Cogan being out due to soreness from when D Marshall crunched him outside the crown casino while he lost his footy. Glengarry should be able to notch up their second win.

Will be taking bets at the local Greyhound establishment on Friday evening

i might meet you at the dogs and have 20 on City and 20 on Rosdale. The odds seem very generous. I thought your side City would be undefeated this year? Why are they starting underdogs (mind the pun) against a side that lost last week?

What is this??? Its at Gormandale....

I just went by the games displayed on Hendos post. I just assumed that they were the games and the home teams.

Won't make any difference anyway traveling 1.20 hours in a car.

@Hendo - Find me the post where I said the dogs won't be beaten.

Yes it definitely is great to see Nugget1985 back onboard after his very hard done by red card..

And dylza really, think about what your typing before you push the reply button.
Utter crap.

Dylza,I think the problem people have with you is that your trying to be someone who your not really are...which shows because your not making friends.

How about you be yourself and stop trying to impress everyone!!!

Time for this weeks game previews and tips.
Hard to believe but after this weeks matches it will make it a quarter of the home and away matches over and done with.

Gormandale Vs Heyfield- Expect Heyfield to win by 40 pts or so. may even be a little closer but Heyfield for mine. It will make it very hard for Gormandale if they are to make finals.

Rosedale Vs Glengarry- Tough game to predict. Rosedale results have been up and down and with Glengarry you no they are still a quality outfit. Glen to get up by under 2 goals.

Sale City Vs Woodside- Will really show where both of these teams are. Both teams wouldnt want to drop two in a row where early on in the season the comp is so even. City by 10 pts

Boisdale Vs Stratford-
Again another tough tough game to pick. Both teams coming off very tight matches with a win. Interesting who will take the points in another close incounter. Stratford in a little upset by under a kick.

TTU Vs Churchill- The only game where it is a easy favourite and underdog. Easy to say Churchill by 60 pts plus. Maybe ill be wrong TTU proved me wrong last week.

Gormandale Vs Heyfield- Gormandale with their season on the line will come out hard and desperate for the win, A quality Heyfield will be to good though and win by 21pts.

Rosedale Vs Glengarry- Rosedale's 2 wins this year has been only just, boisdale by a goal and Cowwarr by 5pts. I dont rate Rosedale at all. Glengarry by 4 goals.

Sale City Vs Woodside- Big game, rumour has it Sale City's coach (Nick) is keen to play already. Woodside unlucky last week in poor conditions.

Woodside by 2goals in a close one.

Boisdale Vs Stratford- No contest here at all. Boisdale came off a bye with fresh legs to beat woodside in poor conditions. Hendo to be outstanding from on and off the sidelines again, Light to kick a bag, Stratford too good all over the ground. Swans by 6goals

TTU Vs Churchill- Churchll easy.

Regards

Lambs

Their is a huge differences than Churchill and Rosedale. Keep in mind Rosedale are on the decline this year, where Churchill have remained relatively the same..

Still not really familiar with the NGFL but ill have a crack.

Gorm Vs Hey- Heyfields results have been win and win well so picking them easy 7 goals.

Rose Vs Glen- Hard game to pick rosedale lost sat night which i went to see and alot of mistakes. Never seen glen but ill pick them in a tight 1.

SC Vs Wood- Again havent seen either team but may go watch this weekend. Woodside 3 goals.

Bois Vs Strat-
Seen couple of Straty games and they dont lie down appart from the Heyfield game. But i will say boisdale by 20pts

TTU Vs Chur-
Churchill 80 points. they are good.

Heyfield 15 points a few injury concerns and gormandale has been unlucky, draw and conditions etc

Woodside ten goals, Staley and Ronaldson to dominate, looking for ronnie to turn it on.

Rosedale just purely on comparing players and Glen were ordinary last week, 10 points

Churchill 8 goals

Boisdale if its at the small ground. A strong physical side and i think the straford runners may struggle to find time and space, expect Stevens to play on Light. 30 pts

I wouldn't say Gormandale has been unlucky this year with draw and conditions. Conditions aren't right when both sides have to play with it. They won the toss and kicked 5 goals to zip so i am not sure how the conditions didn't suit. Maybe they should have kicked 10 in the first quater. As for the draw - They played the GF rematch in rd 1 and loose a close one. They then had the bye. Followed by 2 games against last years bottom 2 sides with one at home. Lost both by under 10 points. I would have thought at the start of the year they would have liked the draw. Compare that to the bottom side of last years draw.
Rd 1 - Bye, Rd 2 Glengarry (3rd last year)@ Glengarry, Rd 3 Heyfield(4th last year) @ Heyfield, Rd 4 First home gae for year and it is a sunday no chance to have a social function and the play Gormandale (2nd last year).
I am sure they would have prefered there draw than Stratfords. They could have worked a little harder to improve maybe.
I agree with you the Boisdale bigger bodies are better suited to the little ground. A huge test and if we can get up it would be a massive achievment.
Great to have you back causing split opinions and firring up these forums!!!!!
Nuggett should be renamed Mr. BigFooty. He has done everything on this site from talking cricket, footy, hanging it on umpires and even being redcarded for talking about the happenings at Rosedale. The only person not happy with his return is poor Dylza!

First point, yeah accepted. I was more on the lines of the fact they arent as bad as they are percieved...with two hard games straight up Churchill and a red hot Woodside who knocked off Heyfield. Then conditions that wouldn't (i believe) suited them against stratford, withi think the mosquito fleet running ragged. But saying that its in your own hands and realistically they should have been 2 wins but they are not so doubts need to be cast.

Yeah thats where Heyfield found them out having the runners and bigger bodies to win the hard ball, Boisdale (and Gormandale) have the bigger bodies but ot so much the runners, if it was at stratford i would pick stratford as they pushed BB last year in round one to go down by 10 points???? Much better balanced side this year.

Mr. BigFooty. Like it....:):thumbsu:.

Big call to say that. I always enjoyed Mr Anstee working in the PE department at school.

Nuggetts Stratford cricket side had him on the top of the list!!!!! After his form over the last two years he might need to look at that? Then again looking at the squad named I think it was a bit of a piss take.

For Sale City

OUT: Hider (Jaw), Wilkinson
IN: Michael Walsh (Debut) and Ben Walton

Stratford unchanged so far. There is a fitness test on 2 tomorrow morning at the stratty ground if they fail. McDonough will play his first senior game for the year and Morelli will com in and make his senior debut!
There has been abit of tinkering with positions of players due to match-ups and ground size though.
