You get a bunch of owners/punters who all line up together at 10 bookies and put a couple of hundred on, then you have the punters who follow late moves following it up and as always there is the punters who wait until the last minute looking for value. Put them all together and there is a few thousand dollars on a single horse late and it shortens.

She could have followed the winner up the inside sure but she lost the race before that when she didn't go 3 wide circling them before the turn, if it wasn't the 2-1 favourite no one would care.

I agree just the 3rd 2 dollar favourite to go down in 5 races at caulfield/randwick, another one just lost at randwick. Was simply making an observation if you use 2 dollar pops to build a bank early you would be having a bad day.
