Re: Official GVFL thread

Anyone watch the Rochy/Seymour game? Looks like Rochy took it right up to the premiers. Maybe Bowen could have made a difference? Whats the injury status like for these two teams, did either team have many out?

Rochy played really well in the first half and then Seymour found another gear after half time. Bowen would've made a huge difference but I think Seymour would still have been too good. Not sure who Rochy would've had out apart from Bowen, I think Seymour may have a couple to come back though? Rochy will improve but not sure whether they will challenge the top few, still lack 3-4 players to be a serious contender.

Re: Official GVFL thread

Eurora look good.

Jansz kicked a dozen and Grainger 6 apparently.

Could they be a decent threat to the Lions
Steady on Macca29. They have only beaten the worst team playing in the GV. But I guess we dont have to wait long to find out. This week playing Seymour on the bigest day outside the GF. Will be interesting to see if Euroa can stand up.

Watched the last half, Seymour just went up another gear in the last 1/4 and Rochy couldn't go with them.
Bowen would have made a big difference and Tank McPhee and Steve Rasmussen both were sidelined from 1/4 time onwards so not having McPhee and Bowen made it hard for Rochy. Someone from Seymour would have to tell you about their injuries.
New Rochy bloke Dusscher was great on Saad.

Re: Official GVFL thread

Good to see Mooroopna has proved to be a real challenge for this years Premiership. I wouldnt write of the Mighty Swans yet though!!
No suprise to see Benalla and Tatura at the bottom but I think a few of you thought Echuca would be a contender this year. I cant see them coming back. Mansfield will more than likley drop off once they start playing the better sides.
Four in a row is looking good at the moment!!!!

Don't write off Mansfield, their a very good side. Definate top 4 material.

Re: Official GVFL thread

ky to play finals this year, watched them saty night there gonna be a handy side, should be a good game this week at princess park.

Re: Official GVFL thread

The GVFL have decided in a bid to eradicate hit man tactics, to video the Shepp Swans games for the remainder of the 2008 season. Mooroopna made an official complaint and the league has acted swiftly. Serial offender Sutherland has been up to his old tricks. He will have the camera focused on his every move for the next few months. This comes as no surprise to me – but it is a bit bizarre that they will tape him for the rest of the season. The novelty will surely wear off after about 5-6 weeks you would think.

Are they not allowed to report him off a video filmed by someone else?

Re: Official GVFL thread

Yeah im not sure mate, but its probably the only way they can guarantee catching him.
Sutherland, unlike Bazza Hall, he picks on the smallest bloke out there.

Mooroopna are livid about the incident on Sunday. And are annoyed there will be repercussions for him...again.

Re: Official GVFL thread

tatura should be dropped from the gvfl, they are a dissapointement to everyone, 190 points is a disgrace. back to the kdl for them, charlsy is not going to get them a win.

Has always been a soft boof head sniper. Good to see a man of his size take cheap shots on kids. Could have been on of the greatest players to play in the GV but will be remembered as a thug!!

Re: Official GVFL thread

So what did sutherland actually do to a mooroopna player??? i saw the game and didnt see anything from the big fella?? If anything i think the cats had a few wannabee mad men trying to line up a few swans?? Mooroopna won the game so think they should just get on with it, thats unless one of the cats players solaruim tans or mad lookin tatts got smudged???? or maybe even those great lookin orange boots one of the players had on?? get over it pussy cats

I was at the game on sunday and didn't see anything??

I'd like to know what the incident is as none of the mooroopna football blokes i know are talking about it.

Also its good to see your bagging Sudsy on here coz i know none of you would have enough balls to do it anywhere else.

Where are you getting your info from that they are going to be video taping all the swans games. The GV surely wouldn't waste money they didn't have on that!

I wasn't at the game but I think we both know if Sudsy had a go at someone the crowd would notice and the guy wouldn't have gotten up off the ground in a hurry.
