Re: Team For Round 1 Nab Cup

I'm most concerned at no Fyfe. He's not been training, what's up with him?
Ibbo is a strange one, been training normally, in the leadership group.
Most peculiar mama.

Re: Team For Round 1 Nab Cup

One for the positives good to see Viv and Melington both getting their first run in the big leagues. Along with Anthony, Faulks and Lower pulling on the jumper for the first time.

Hopefull the big guns (bar of course Barlow, Mora and Hayden) will be up and about for round one.

Unfortunate that Sibbo isn't 100% could have been a chance to prove himself

Pretty strong side. Looking forward to watching Mzungu, Griffin, Palmer, Michie, Mellington, Bolly, Faulks and Lower. If Palmer can get a lot of the ball and use it well his confidence will skyrocket.

No Buddy, Hodge, Roughead, Sewell or Mitchell.

We're around the $8 mark to win NAB Cup, will have to travel week 2 but a home semi will probably be on offer if we get that far so $8 looks good value IMO.

I count a squad of 29. Not really concerned about starting 22 players missing out, but Sibosado, Walters and Hinkley not being there makes me wonder why.

Not sure why we wouldn't expect a round 2 game at Subi if we were to make it given it's likely our opponent wouldn't have travelled in round 1 either and it's also likely the game would get a bigger crowd at Subi. I can't believe the AFL would want to play us against North again in front of about 450 people.

Walters is on the way back from a sore knee...would have loved to see Bucovaz...has been training well, and Sibisado not being there is disappointing

I know its only the NAB cup, but surely we can take out both WC and Hawthorn. Probably have more trouble with WC, but for Hawthorn I count about 2 good players, a handful of fringe 22 players and the rest are kids. We should annihilate them. Although I guess it depends what we do with our senior players.

Odd that Buco isn't getting a run, he's been training with the main squad and had a pretty good pre season from what iv'e heard? I heard Fyfe was Ill? don't know if thats what's keeping him out though.
