Today is the 10th anniversary of Troy Broadbridge's passing, such a heart-breaking tragedy, dying saving wife Trish on their honeymoon in Phuket, as a result of the horrific Asian Tsunami.

I didn't know him personally, but he seemed like a wonderful young person, much loved by everyone who knew him.

I still remember breaking down when I learnt the horrible news his body was found, such a black day for everyone in the AFL community, especially The Melbourne Footy club.

The Demons have had so much tragedy and pain inflicted on them in the past ten years (losing Troy Broadbridge, Sean Wight, Jimmy Stynes, Dean Bailey and Robbie Flower)

The Dees are the one team, aside from Carlton, I would like to see do well, their fans deserve to have some happiness at the footy again ..

Wanting to put myself in a really good mood for tonight so I'm currently watching the 2nd half of the 2013 Elimination Final. Juddy is an absolute beast and oh man, i miss Kreuzer. Can't wait for him to be back playing next year!

ADELAIDE’S first serious burst of hot weather for the summer should be no problem for the Dubai-hardened Power players who return to training this morning.
As the rest of the state tries to stay cool indoors or at the beach after yesterday’s 42-degree scorcher, the Port Adelaide boys are expected to be running laps around the North Adelaide parklands.

Have to wonder if these guys are going to burn out.

I know they are keen and capable but they wouldn't want their team to break down the way Carlton did in 12 or Freo did in '11.

Not a fair comparison.

He was not human, he was a piece of iron...

So true, getting knocked down over 3 times in each round by a genetic freak on roids and somehow defeating him and preventing the war between russia and usa!

But the real hero in this movie is none other then the happy birthday paulie robot! Paulie went to russia with rocky because he wanted to get away from the robot, you see the robots plan was to pretend to be obsessive over paulie to get him to go with rocky to Russia. with no rocky or paulie at home with adrian, she felt lonely and decided to go to russia. if paulie had stayed with adrian, adrian would never of went to russia because she wouldn't be lonely with paulie keeping her company. rocky wouldnt of had that training montage without adrian being by his side in russia and would of suffered the same fate as apollo creed. rocky losing means he would of failed to make peace between the 2 countries. russia and usa would of engaged in a nuclear war destroying most of humanity, thus causing the rise of skynet and the terminators.

so yes, this happy birthday paulie robot prevented the destruction of the human race!
