Just a quick heads up to any of the boys from Bonnie Doon FC notice you have Zach Green playing there this year.. Just make sure you keep your wallets in your pockets around him.. May have done a runner on his last year club while still owing many people money with his tab running into the high thousands..

I think as a league Pliz we just have to tough it out. The kid drought will break eventually....We'll continue to support other clubs as much as possible, provided they are willing to accept players, and just keep pushing through.
Also heard there be a couple of kids left over from the Mil/Whor merge ??, they could be dispersed to other clubs......if they're willing to go of course.

I believe those "left over" or above the 22 cap will be pushed towards King Valley

Tarra over Doon....48pts...Doon teetering , really need a win
Whor over Bright.... 100pts
Benalla over Greta.... 25pts (Benalla to retain the Gerry Crothers Cup)
G/bat over G/rowan.... 7pts......Bats are on a roll. No Hateley for G/rowan
Milawa over Swannie.....180pts
Moyhu over KV...65pts
Nth Wang over Tatong...15pts
 
Fair enough then supposed to be showers on sat too so could play into greta's hands with not many real talls
 
I'll have a punt this week:

TARRAWINGEE vs. Bonnie Doon - Tarra to win by 40 points.
WHOROULY vs. Bright - Whorouly by 140 points.
ALL BLACKS vs. Greta - Should still win comfortably, I'll say 60 or more points.
Goorambat vs. GLENROWAN - I think Glenrowan's better players are better than Goorambat's, so Glenrowan by 13 points.
MILAWA vs. Swanpool - Swanpool are on a hiding to nothing, 200 points.
MOYHU vs. King Valley - Moyhu by 70 points.
NORTH WANGARATTA vs. Tatong - Should be a competitive game, North Wangaratta by about 30, it will be interesting to see how Plummer goes.

they have the Panthers next round is where to from now. could be a few boys in hospital with leather poisioning I'm prediciting...
 
Rumours flying around today about swanpool folding mid season. I hope these aren't true, that went around about us at one stage and it makes life just so much harder for those trying to keep things going....Stick with it guys...:thumbsu:

After watching the BDFL clubs merge into the O & K from the sidelines i must say that overall the clubs have done as expected and thats no disregard to the clubs they have come into a bigger league and presented well as can be expected and full credit to Bonnie Doon for their rise last year proving that they can mix it with a bigger comp. Kudos to Goorambat who although they have only done minor changes this year to personal have mannaged to step up and present this year. Likewise congrats Tatong 2 years ago the talk was you were to fold but you have carried on strong.
Swanpool although you refused to enter possible merger talks with Tatong perhaps you can pick yourself up off the floor like Tatong have a restructure through the whole club see through this pain and find the spirit that built the club in the BDFL.
Your right Slim ther are many guys and girls who love Swanpool and give their all for it I hope they rise again.
 
Nonch, do we have the mid season review to look forward to this week..?? Also I noticed your mate Bourkey23 has a twitter acc to keep his followers up to date...Lift your game..:D:D:D
