Dunno if the G/bat ppl read the Chronnie but they should be a bit angry if they do......All the pre season money they spent advertising to attract players and Bright get a free kick in todays issue......:D:D:D

Is it just me or is there an above average injury rate this year....most appear to be structural injuries, we've had more broken bones in 8 rounds than we have had in the last 5 years.....on top of the usual knees, ankles and soft tissue stuff.....

I think if you ask Whorouly they will say yes, although they've had a bad run for about three years now...

Who have you guys got out now?

Also, mid-season report cards in Wednesday's Chronicle. Will there be an A+ this year??? And will I bag out Moyhu again??? All will be answered...

Don't know if you'll get a reply from anyone from Glenrowan, but from all reports Hately and Lambert have both been good (more so Hately), don't know about the other two.

Couldn't sleep last night in anticipation......with my $1.10 clenched firmly in my palm I headed for the newsagent to acquire said feature in the Chronnie. Picking up the paper and feeling the weight I thought to myself, shit he's really gone to town, the mid year report feature must be 10 page lift out....

Brandishing said paper I headed to the lunch room at work and feverishly started removing the inserts, "Quilt Festival liftout", no not that one, "Building Awards liftout", no not that one, advertising catalogues, no, not in amongst those either. Ah, I thought, 5 pages in the back..no not quite, then I saw it a bloody picture of Akermanis...

All in all Nonch, very precise and to the point. Dunno if the journalist formerly known as 12 goals will be too happy with your outlook for Moyhu but I suppose mentioning him may offset that...I still think any one of the top 5 or 6 could take it out depending on who has the best run with injuries..:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Interesting to see a clearance for Ben Jones to Ovens and Murray! Just what Bright dont need is players leaving!

That will really hurt them unless they can get a few back in before 30th June. The day we play them ib the day Nutta is due to play in the vic2 side if he makes it....that will leave them very exposed in the midfield....

all the boys are goin great, as well as danny neville and now shannon oconner and matt aldridge, unfortunatley duncan did acl in practice match before season started which required surgery, so i beleive he will miss season, but great bunch blokes, and will hopefully stick around for a few years.

Very disappointing for Bright.

I was told a few weeks back he wouldn't be playing for a while because of ongoing injury...

His old man is still playing in the twos.

Well I hope you read the quilt festival liftout - riveting stuff!

As for Moyhu, you know I relish pointing out their faults, but really, they beat Milawa when the Dees didn't have a ruckman.

Hoppers are the only side in the top five (top six if Shaker gets back in form) without a top line ruck.

It's early days, but right now I can't go past a Benalla v Milawa grand final, with Whorouly the pick of the rest.

Will be happy to be proven wrong though!

Cheers mate, forgot about Danny being up there but not sure i know the other 2 lads. Shame about Duncs as he's a handy player and a bloody handy cricketer with Avenel being an A-grade p/ship player. I imagine these blokes have a fair crack off the field as well as they used to down this end of the world :thumbsu::D:p.
