Another great game of finals footy today, very hard ,physical contest. both sides missing a few but a very even game for 2 1/2 qtrs. Everytime we pulled away Kv pulled it back to within a couple. We probably starterd to break it open late in the 3rd. respect to KV though they kept throwing at us but appeared to run out of legs in last 1/4.

Apparently Primmer pulled out in the morning which may have weakened their mid field a little bit...Ben Kunkle did a great job on Sessho again....Does anyone know if the KV player sent off was reported? Big Spoons was great with his 7gls or so against 2 opponents all day.

Tomorrows game should be a pisser between Tarra and Whor but we have shifted our focus to Moyhu next week.

Thoughts for this weeks games guys, BK everyone ( except Milawa} would love to see you guys get across the line....I reckon our game with Moyhu will be a pisser as well...

If we play like we did for most of yesterday we will be able to take it up to them. Will have to be on top of our game though. Hopefully those boys with injury concerns can get up for the game.

If you play like you did for the first 20 minutes the game might already be over;)

Wet weather could help you guys out a little bit though BK...

True, maybe I should have said "most of the second half".

I don't think we'll be praying for rain, but we have had some good form in the wet this year.

I reckon you will give it a crack regardless of the weather, but rain certainly wouldn't hurt your cause.

In the other match, Spoon could destroy the Hoppers if he plays as well as he did this week! And Mick Donehue looked good in the twos.

I reckon if Webby plays he can expect some niggling from the Moyhu boys who saw his antics on Saturday...

They don't mind handing it out Nonch but when the shoe, or in this case boot, is the other foot....well... we all know what happens then....

Hopefully we'll be nearly as good as we can get for No's given our current plight....Still 3 or 4 to come back in that should be right....Infact it might be tough at the selection committee Thurs night.

Spoon is in great form and we will need to fire this weekend for sure.
Mick Donehue will also be a massive boost for our forward line hopefully he can get those vice grip hands working

. 2s didn't have a lot of stand out players Yeterday I would think 2 blokes will be up for selection, as for spoonsy he will tear moyhu apart I would imagine.

I wouldn't say they are a one man team KIA...

I'm with BK on that one KIA, they have a lot of avenues to goal, keeping Newto, Simms and the mid field quiet as well is important. That's where Tarra's small hard men can win in the midfield if it's wet and restrict delivery into them...

Newto is very slow slim and simms is slow to just they can take a strong contested mark... I was talking to a bloke who plays in there side and there game plan is to kick it long to lewis 90% of the time thats why there onballers are sitting in the pockets to swoop if the ball comes to ground.. There midfield dont like it hard at all!! hope the tarra boys can get up no one likes to see Milawa win!!

Think he might have been foxing KIA.

There are a few things sides could do to give themselves a good chance to beat Milawa IMO but simply shutting down Lewy is not one of them...

Find it interesting that everyone continues to write moyhu off. Sure blacks have some good forwards that kick goals but im pretty sure the hoppers do as well and not to mention the two best midfielders going around?? Should be a good game and I dont think any individual will dominate

I wouldn't think anyone is writing the hoppers off knighta sure enough they have some good forwards and on ballers but so do the blacks. I think the blacks forwards will be too big for the hopper backs

I think the black forwards are too big for ANYONE! they are all massive units, well 2 inparticular...hopefully we can stop the ball from getting to the forwards, that would be nice!! Anyway i hope both teams are at full fitness, or close to for the best contest avaliable

I agree with you and KIA knighta.....Anyone who writes Moyhu off does so at their peril...And as you said hopefully both clubs can field their best avail teams....

See in the Border today both grounds to be watered if there isn't enough rain.
They were both a bit dusty in the middle last week...I heard KV weren't real happy.
