I agree with you and KIA knighta.....Anyone who writes Moyhu off does so at their peril...And as you said hopefully both clubs can field their best avail teams....

See in the Border today both grounds to be watered if there isn't enough rain.
They were both a bit dusty in the middle last week...I heard KV weren't real happy.
The Tarrawingee ground felt hard just walking over it, and lots of dust coming up in the middle wherever players ran through or tackled for the ball...the both def need a drink before the weekend, hopefully not too much water tho.

At least we are not going to see a Tarra v Milawa GF this year

Nonch how's 12 goals feeling about this weekend? Has he got the 100 on his
Mind??

He won't be able to complain about sore feet if the ground gets watered..:D
Don't mind the slippery little sucker getting it but he'll have to excuse us if we do our best to stop him...;);)

well done to the Moyhu boys today, equal endeavour from both sides but moyhu used it better. Mcgeehan was the diff. great job by Matty levy on J wilson.....Losing Evans in the 1st qtr didn't help our defence.

Once again well done hoppers, the pressure is on you guys and Tarra to make sure the sandpit gang don't get the flag....

McGeehan was more than the difference slim - you guys might have won by 5 goals if he hadn't been there!

He was the one guy you didn't seem to have a great match up for.

Drew was great, so was Levy, but yeah, Hoppers just handled the conditions that bit better.

And unfortunately Blacks were their own worst enemies a few times.

Still a good effort on the season considering your rotten luck.

Number 17 was definitely the best player on the ground but to say Blacks would have won by 5 goals had he not played is a rash statement? Moyhu kicked 2 goals 9 in the 2nd Q and should've BLOWN the game away by 3/4 time with another 3 goals 6. Hop, Hop, Hoppers!

FTR it was 2.8 in the second, two of which were rushed and another was touched.

None of the shots the Hoppers missed were easy shots in those conditions.

In fact for the whole day, despite the inaccuracy by both sides, there were only two easy shots that missed, and both of those were from Benalla players - Spoon in the first quarter and Picko in the third.

Yeah as I said Nonch, losing Evo late in the first severly hampered our defence yet again. But that's footy. As for being our own worst enemy, you can't expect to win with only 16 blokes on the ground for 1/2 of the last qtr.

As for our rotten luck, we did some beer pot calcs last night, 3 knee reco's, 2 broken legs, 2 broken arms, 3 broken hands,1 broken jaw and the usual array of soft tissue injuries.(Sorry if I left anyone out)
