3rds....knee cap out but went back in
2nds....knee cap out and back in....dislocated shoulder......both went to hospital
Snrs..sprained ankle,broken nose, hamstring...no bench for most of the last qtr.
No long term stuff...The bye this week will help and should see us get 3 or 4 back in for Milawa...

Nth Wang had a couple too.....Vihm knee and I think one bloke may have a collar bone fracture....

Oh and I did see the ambulance over at the netball as well......

so none were key players in 2nds or seniors? umpires need to be more villeent an crack down on the thugs running aroung. gives our league a bad name

Mind you, the umpires were terrible, they were constantly over riding each others decision like they were competeing against themselves... there was a contest/ball up in the forward pocket and the umpire was 10m away and called play on after a tackle yet the umpire in the centre of the ground call a free kick for too high!!! it got the the stage were both umpires had a big argument in the centre of the ground... very poor display!!

There was an incident involving the 2 big men from both side and i think the North wang player got reported but neither umpire actually seen the incident....

From what I've seen in the last four weeks the overall umpiring has been disgraceful! Too many seem to have seperate agendas and want to be more important than the players! I know its hard to find blokes willing to wear the whistle but something really needs to be done to stop games being decided by the umps!

In the four and a bit years I've been watching O&K, every week I hear supporters of one side or the other complain non-stop about the umpiring, with very little justification. FWIW in that time, some 50-odd games, I would say only one game was decided by the umpiring (the coach of the losing side gave the umps a fair bake in the aftermath). Obviously I don't see every game, but the quality of umpiring I've seen this year in the O&K has actually been better than what I've seen in the O&M. Suffice to say I think it has been good.

If you are first to the footy the umpiring becomes irrelevant!

When you are second tithe footy that's when people start complaining about umpires.

Fairly simple solution I think!!!!!!

Look i totally agree with that and that the umpiring in the O&K has been fairly good in the past, i dont want to get into a slinging match with anyone about the quality of Umpiring in general but i can tell Saturdays display between North Wang and All Blacks was terrible... Clearly both Umpires had a grudge with each other and were out to prove a point... both umpires are arguing with each other in the centre of the ground, neither had control of the game, and when they did it was over riding the other umpires decision....

Both coaches were pretty dissappointed after the game....

Does anyone have any idea who these particular umpires were?
It doesn't sound flash, coming from a number of you with similar stories.

It wasn't an intentional hit Nescout...both players were going for the ball and Waite's elbow went back and inadvertantly got the KV player in the nose. The umpire had clear site of the incident..it was right in front of him and he obviously did not think it warrented a report as it was not intentional.

Did you see the incident Nescout?

Must have been the same umpire who saw him head butt Bully against us...:D
