Tips for this week Men:
Bonnie Doon to get the job done at home over Greta. Not by much
Goorambat to get smashed by Milawa... around 200 points
Moyhu over KV. Moyhu are hitting some good form
North Wang over All Blacks comfortably. Word on the street, Blacks could have a few out injured. Slim?
Bright to get over Swanpool. Bright are in good form.
Tatong V Glenrowan... Tatong should win, BUT you never know (worst match of the round) maybe even year!
Whorouly to get back on the winners list over Tarra

Good luck to All teams this week. Should be a top weekend for footy :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Heard their full forward Donahue has injured a knee?? How bad though I'm not sure. This would be a massive blow if season ending.

Gee Bunyip your story is changing by the week! 2 weeks ago Arch was second to the contest" Knees first" this week it was a " Bump". This is an absolute witch hunt and you know it. As for the Milawa incident it was nothing but an accident with Arch falling across Gardners leg! The fact of the matter is Arch is a massive unit who is ferocious at the ball and he makes it his sole objective. I dont like seeing blokes hurt at anytime but these things are going to happen in contact sports and doesnt warrant you blokes getting on hear and slandering Kyle based on bulls#@t and rumours. And dont see you spruiking about the other investigation your club is involved in Bunyip!

JB, as I said quite clearly, did not see nor have an opinion on the Gardner incident. I'm not wasting my breath going over old ground & clarifying for you. I saw what I saw & believe me it wasn't pretty. Everything I've indicated on this forum to date on this matter has come to pass. But it's hardly a witchhunt when the matter is in the hands of an "independant" VCFL investigator who will decide what happens next. If Kyle gets off so be it. Either way the club must believe it owes it to the injured player to take the matter further. You're 100% right in that "accidents" do happen.

Wow what has happens to whorouly??

Great win by tarra! They have been struggling with injuries all year and to get up was a great effort!

Also good close game mohyu v's king valley! Very even this year

Geez SS up by 27 at 3 qtr time and to lose by 8 must've hurt.
Was there a strong wind at a certain end?
22 goals at one end compared to 6 would suggest so i guess.

Sure it hurt but we know now that we can match it with some good teams.
Nutta really got Bright back into the game and we probally should have tried to shut him down earlier.
Not a big breeze but for some reason it just seemed to be the scoring end.
Doon next week then Blacks so we will be looking to win both of these games with key players back.

Did Arch kill anyone this weekend??
I heard that the All Blacks were back to their old ways against North Wang throwing fists around

Heard that Tarra had 7 senior players come back on the weekend and still have another 5 to come in....?
Off the top of my head we had Miller, Spence, Joel O'Keeffe, Vihm, Arnold and Roach come back in on the weekend as well as Ash Sheldrick for his first senior match. Still got blokes like Eames, Barassi, Kerlin, Salmon, Braden, Jarrod Everitt and Daz Johnstone to come back in or push for selection.

Very important win on the weekend. Don't think too many people will write us off anymore.

Did Arch kill anyone this weekend??

Nope. The bloke is 6'4 and around 110kg though, and the way he plays the game I can see how people could get hurt if they stood in front of him. Didn't see him do anything dirty, but step in front of him at your own peril... the bloke is hard to stop when he gets going. He gets 90% of their clearances, so if sides can shut him down they'll go a long way towards winning the match.

Pretty fair to say that we were on the receiving end of some pretty ordinary stuff on and off the ball.......Good to see at least one Cap Wearers got sick of it and decidied to make a report....

Also left totally confused with the head on contact ruling after the weekend. We were on the receiving end of at least 4 of these, where our player had his head over the ball and was hit from front on.....No reports and in one case no freekick.???? After the report in our game against Greta for far less....Can anyone shed some light on ruling....:confused::confused:

I have heard that North Wang were the ones throwing the punches and their ruckman may have been reported for a king hit??

There ruckman should have been sent off on numerous occasions the biggest bloke on the ground sniping everyone within arms reach! Hopefully the tribunal take action on him and he gets the deserving penalty to go with the situation! king hitting a bloke Who is defenseless is as low as you can go!

BK, given the result which you'd have to admit was unexpected, did you shut him down?

I went out and watched this game thinking it would have been a cracker, but North wang were far too good...

Mind you, the umpires were terrible, they were constantly over riding each others decision like they were competeing against themselves... there was a contest/ball up in the forward pocket and the umpire was 10m away and called play on after a tackle yet the umpire in the centre of the ground call a free kick for too high!!! it got the the stage were both umpires had a big argument in the centre of the ground... very poor display!!

There was an incident involving the 2 big men from both side and i think the North wang player got reported but neither umpire actually seen the incident....

how does that work? does anyone know what happens there?
