Semi-professional means you get paid but not enough to make a living by, dimwit 
players at my local club get paid money. Thats not what i was referring to when i said semi professional. And players at my local club dont have flabby arms like all the players pre 1970s did. Smoke less too.

Professional era post zones. Probably should be 1996 onwards given the early afl flags were still highly influenced by the zones period that unjustly favoured hawthorn, carlton and essendon but lets say 1990. Hey you guys sneak in one and unlike many of the other flags around the same period the pies 1990 did not benefit from unjust advantages. 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995 much more dubious.
