Copped a bit of a whack on footy classified Good Call - Bad Call.

"Ollie wines hasn't learnt his season after last year, doing laps around a race track in Dixons race car" Cornes labeled it a good call and "ridiculous" behaviour.

Clurey and Dixon also there.

As an aside, Kane is looking more like his old man every day.

Heā€™s like a dog with a bone on this.
Yeah, I saw the pic Dixon posted on Instagram of the three of them at the race track a couple of days ago.

There are four reasons to hate Cornes.

1) The way he left the club
2) He's a Cornes
3) He has been a Ken supporter.
4) He is hyper critical of PAFC (aside from Ken)

90% of the time what he says is ****ing spot on - particularly about the club itself. He was the ultimate professional throughout his career, didn't drink, trained like a maniac and always tried to get the best out of himself. It's no wonder he wasn't popular in the end, he attempts to hold others to his standards which never works as everyone is different. He was never there to make friends, he was there to win.

However in trying to win premierships in modern AFL, his critical stance on professionalism is absolutely right.

I'm an unashamed supporter for most of what he says, outside of anything to do with ****ing Ken.

FFS theyre basically doing speed limited formation laps. Theyā€™ll be fine.

We wont win a flag until Ollie is gone he doesn't wanna be here thus subconsciously will never be fully committed.. you need to fck those types off as our club legends of yore would've done without any fcks given.

Could the Tigers be a potential home for Wines? They lost Rance and have money to play with.

They would be a much better team to trade with than Essendon.

the team from left field that could be wanting to have a look could be Geelong

they have 3 x 1st round draft picks - currently 5, 11, 17 (they also have pick 24)
they have a KPP that we might be interested in (Nathan Krueger)
they have midfielders that could retire at the end of the year (J Selwood / Ablett etc)
their other midfilders are close to 30 (Dangerfield)
they would see Wines as a replacement to Kelly (mainly due to the age range)

I am sick to death of how underrated Ollie is on this board atm. He is top 5 at the club and would be top 5 at most AFL clubs.

Port supporters used to be educated footy followers. Players like Ollie and Rockliff, who do their best work in close and "in and under" are too easily missed. But it is these players who make the rest look better. We have been at the top end for centre clearances for a few years now. While stats don't tell the whole story, there are certain players like Ollie and Rockliff that you will find it hard to judge their true output unless you look at the stats or review the game in slow motion.

We are a better team with Ollie in, every day.

Even if you were right he doesn't want to be here so you fck him off while he still has a modicum of value.

Ollie's great uncle played for Carlton.
Ollie barracked for Carlton prior to playing for Port Adelaide. (afl.com article : Feb 2017)
If traded, his next uniform will be navy blue and white, his boyhood dream becoming a reality.

Not going anywhere .. He will be here next year!

Just putting that out there.

For 2021, i tend to agree because of his contract than anything else. As for end of next year, or the year after, i consider he will likely return to Victoria and finish his playing career at the one club with family connection, and that would be his prefernce of all other Victorian clubs, Carlton,
