I hope he stays and think he will but Pickering and Edmund saying are working behind the scenes to get him **** off.My money is on Ollie staying. His last 6 weeks have been so good and he seems a lot happier this season!
Pickering and Edmund know nothing along with a lot of their colleagues in the media, most are oxygen robbers!I hope he stays and think he will but Pickering and Edmund saying are working behind the scenes to get him fu** off.
Even if he was to leave he is back to 2 first rounders value.
Friday was soooo long agoApparently as late as last week doesn’t count
Some real sliding doors from last year's trade period. If we'd offloaded SPP for Fantapants and a soiled O Wines for magic beans I doubt we'd be sitting on a double chance right now.The real positive is his worth is at an all time high. hes contracted
And Crouch is gettable at worst

Tweet liked by Ollie's mum. End discussion.
My preferred position is to keep him and he does appear much happier, which tends to happen when the team and the individuals form is good.
However reading between the lines from the interview he gave the AFL website, I still think his ultimate goal is to return home to Victoria when he finally settles.
I don't think that is out of any desire to change clubs or chase money but is essentially a return home at some stage to settle.
For the clubs planning purposes the choice is whether they move earlier and cash in on some trade value or try to convince him to play his career out here in SA.
I reckon he plays another year out of his contract till the end of 2021 and then the club has a big call to make as to whether they move, as they still have some leverage with one year left on his current contract to play out .
Barrett now says he’s stayingI got completely the opposite feel from that interview. I think with the right contract and maybe even the captaincy he would stay here with this list pretty quickly over going to a rebuilding Carlton or Essendon. He is driven more by the opportunity of success more than the opportunity to go home to currently mediocre teams so he can see family and friends from Echuca a bit more often for the next five years.
Hope your right , as I would like to see him play his career out with the club, but I still feel that the end of 2021 is going to be a critical decision point for both him and the club in terms of his final years and last major contract. At end of 2021 he will be 27 and looking at his final large contract, so he will be having to make a big call. I think its more then just family / friends as I seem to remember that he has family business interests that he's looking to get into.I got completely the opposite feel from that interview.
